This bowl was amazing! I loved how customizable it was—you can choose absolutely everything, which makes it easy to create exactly what you’re craving. Every ingredient tasted fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The combination came together perfectly, and the portion was very satisfying. Everything was delicious from the first bite to the last. Definitely one of the best build-your-own bowls I’ve had, and I’ll 100% be coming back!

I was looking for something for lunch with my wife and saw Zhoug Mediterranean and figured it was worth a try. She got the Sesame Falafel Pita and I got the Chicken Shawarma Pita. I loved the Chicken Shawarma and she really loved her Falafel too. They have some truly awesome sauces. I liked the tzatziki and zhoug. She had the zhoug and it went so well with the fried falafel. I cheated- I added some of her falafel to my pita. Amazing! Both of us left feeling so satisfied with our meals. We’re going to add this our favorite lunch spots. I can’t recommend Zhoug Mediterranean enough! If you’re in the area give Zhoug Mediterranean a try. I hope you like it as much as we did.

You can’t visit without trying the hummus! The location in Lenexa is open, spacious, and very clean. The staff is friendly and the ownership is also thrilled to see customers in their dining area. I will 100% be visiting this spot again!

The restaurant was very clean and upon entering I was greeted by a lovely woman. She was very helpful and friendly. It is a Chipotle/Qdoba type of place where you pick your toppings for what you order. I got the lamb/beef gyro and added my toppings. I also got French fries, hummus with pita, and a drink. The gyro was delicious and the hummus was smooth and flavorful. The French fries were fresh and hot and they gave me a huge portion! I got one of their specialty fountain drinks strawberry dragonfruit and it was delicious also. It came out to about $27 which was a little pricey, but the food was definitely worth it! I will be coming back.

The ingredients in the order line looked fresh and the food tasted really, really good. Generous portions too. And reasonably priced. The staff was very courteous and helpful in defining unknown dishes, and offered suggestions as to what would please our palate. And We were pleased!
The only reason I gave them 4 stars on atmosphere was based on where the tables are placed. An air duct pipe blew cold air on us, which was uncomfortable. But the place was very clean and appealing. We will be back!

I just give 2 star for the food, and 4 for the concept. We order 2 bowls one with hummus and salad, the other salad and rice
The chicken was dry, the rice was less flavorful.
The harissa sauce doesn’t have any spicy flavor.
The hummus was just meh.

Run don’t walk to Zhoug. The sauces are amazing. Gyro bowl is delicious. The chicken shawarma pita is perfect for lunch. Fresh ingredients and kind people! I love Zhoug!
