Loved the crust which is thin crispy and slightly chewy. Server explained that the crust is made with home sourdough containing only 4 ingredients. The service was good and the ambiance is cozy.

I have been going to Pie Tap in Frisco for over 2 years and I can only say, that this restaurant is consistent in the quality of food and the friendly service.
Last night we met the regional manager, Bruno. He was working in the battle field like the other servers. He showed people to their table, swept the floor, picked dishes, cleaned and set tables, delivered food and poured water, did it all as we watch while dining. When business slowed down, we called him over to thanks him for the service and express our like for the food. He said, that the success was due to the staff, which worked real hard to make your experience, as if at home with family.
My special shout out to Josh (our energetic server) and Jerrod (Sp?) (head of the kitchen?), Azea (Sp?) who’s now at dental school in Florida, but all staff we interact are great. We are always welcomed with a smile. They have good parking, super clean dinning room and clean bathrooms.
Now to the food, they have great pizzas, the ginger lemonade with rosemary drink is to die for (I buy a gallon to go), the Hummus is spectacular with the fresh veggies and bread, and the chicken parmesan and pasta is out of this world. Dare you to try it and not like it.
100% recommend this place, we go on a monthly basis or more.

Can’t stop raving about this place! Their sourdough crust is next-level. Crispy on the outside, chewy inside, and packed with that perfect tangy flavor you only get from real sourdough.
My absolute favorite is the chicken it’s unreal. The smoky bacon, juicy chicken, and melty cheese all come together on that sourdough base like a dream. Every bite hits just right.
If you’re a pizza lover looking for something a little different (and a lot better), this spot is a must try.

Veggie pie pizza was awesome with the fried broccoli and feta. Loved the garlic rosemary bread too. Great vibes, definitely coming back. So good!!

We had such a great experience at Pie Tap Pizza! The pizza was absolutely delicious—the crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside while the dough still had that fresh, flavorful bite. You can tell they take real pride in their pies because everything from the sauce to the toppings came together so well.
Josh, our server, was awesome—great energy, attentive without hovering, and he went the extra mile by bringing out pizza dough for all three of my kids to play with while we waited. That made the whole experience even better (and kept the kids happy, which is a win for any parent!).
On top of that, Tommy, the GM, really stood out. Even though it was a super busy night, he personally made sure we got a table and welcomed us with genuine kindness. His energy set the tone for the whole evening.

This place was great. The pizza was so amazing you can tell from the picture I hated it. LOL The service was fun and pleasant. I also recommend the Espresso Martini. We came for brunch and left fat and happy. The price and value is on point too.

Cesar was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked up to the bar, his customer service was unmatched. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made everyone feel welcome. Our drinks were perfectly crafted, fast, and delicious—and he never missed a beat even when it was busy! Cesar has such a great energy ALWAYS + clearly takes pride in what he does. He truly elevated our entire experience. We’ll be back and hoping Cesar is behind the bar every time!

I’ve visited Pie Tap in Frisco a few times before and have always had great experiences, which is why this visit felt a little disappointing. The food was fine, but the service wasn’t as attentive as I’m used to. The bartender was engaged in conversation with another guest for most of the time, and I wasn’t asked about refills or how everything was tasting. I ended up getting my check and to-go box from the manager, and when I left, there was still no acknowledgment or thank you.
I’m hoping this was just an off day, as I’ve enjoyed my previous visits.

I’m a frequent. I always dine in and everything is great. I went some time last month and the quality wasn’t AS great as usual. I ordered take out last night and it was terrible. The garlic puffs are my fav order due to the large chunks, the whole order had 1. The bread was stiff AND the one garlic chunk had a hair in it. The pizza was just okay this time. The donuts were also stiff. I was craving it all so bad and i feel as though it was just money wasted 🙁

Tommy, Ceasar and Alexandria welcomed our large group of 9 for lunch and made sure we were well taken care of! Ceasar’s skinny spicy margs are just WOW and Tommy and Alexandria were both so attentive. Every dish ordered was fantastic, but the friendly welcome and attention to our group made our time at Pie Tap unforgettable. Making this our group’s gathering spot from here on out.
