Authentic taste great smoked ribs and chicken. The meat was tender l, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Enjoy their sweet cinnamon beans and fire macaroni and cheese. Cornbread so sweet and moist. Now let’s talk about the wings and fries with the big boy sauce so delicious. You can’t stop eating the crinkle cut fries. I can come here at least once a week, well worth it. Almost forgot, don’t forget to try the flop, too. I wanted to try the collard greens, but they were sold out, so what does that tell you. Go early to enjoy it all.

I visited this place on Saturday February 7th, 2026 and when I say TERRIBLE I mean TERRIBLE!!!!! First of all there was a lady at the window that me and my 71 year old mom didn’t see didn’t even acknowledge us. There was no greeting or anything. That was strike 1. We got a family meal that came up to $89 because we ordered extra side dishes. When I asked the lady how big they were she held up her hand and I was like can we see the containers please and she yelled to the back for someone to bring it. Strike 2. I’m upset with myself because I didn’t take any pictures of the food but I wouldn’t feed it to a dog. This is why I have a hard time supporting black owned businesses. The food was COLD as if they pulled it out of the refrigerator and the mac and cheese was HORRIBLE. I will NEVER return to this establishment they need to close this place and start over again. This was simply DISGUSTING. I have no other words.

Baked beans | beans from a can with ginger sprinkled on it. I did like the ginger kick. The container was also less than half full if you look below, that’s how it arrived.
Mac n cheese | 95% noodles and 5% cheese. Not good at all. No flavor.
Greens | perfect texture but way too much salt and they only give you a small amount
Ribs | dry but the sauce is really good

Not going to lie, I am disappointed in my order. I’ve been here multiple times and the food is usually good but this time my chicken was overcooked and I did not receive enough sauce. The bread was also hard which could indicate that it is old. The mac was also curdled.

Wow. Me and my husband finished our plates, his 1/2 slab of ribs and mine, rib tip dinner, but still have leftovers for dinner because they’re give a good amount of food. The house sauce is so good. The greens I really liked the tartness from the vinegar but I could see how someone might think it’s too strong. Max and cheese was on point. The rib tips.. every tip had a good amount of sauce. The vibes off the folks in line and the ladies selling mother’s day gifts under their tents. Of course the area is a bit hood so I would recommend going during day light hours. Lol. Kudos to this establishment. I will definitely be back.

Come thru come thru, hit up your local BBQ spot. I got the BBQ chicken dinner with two sides, the side where good mac & cheese was a little dry but still good , potato salad was on point and chicken was nice and tender BBQ sauce was flavorful but some part of the chicken was a little to hard “”over cook””.
Also right out side there is an amazing lady selling cakes. Upside down pineapple cake, velvet cake, velvet cake with pecans. Recommend both

Driving by this place trying to shortcut to lunch and I had to stop. The smell of the smoke pouring out of the BBQ was amazing.
Place isn’t too much to look at but who cares, the food is fantastic. Real wood fire smoke aroma and taste is in the meat to the core!I had the rib tip sandwich and greens, the greens were mighty tasty too.
I’ve always believed that you can judge a BBQ joint by then serving white bread with the meat. Well here you get two slices! Enough said!
