The chicken biriyani was mentioned as Dum biriyani on the menu where as it was cooked as fried rice without any taste or flavour. Instead of mentioning the rice as flavourful basmati rice it should have been mentioned as coloured rice. Just a disaster experience, I came long way seeing for Dum biriyani I was badly disappointed.

I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, roti and rice, but what I received was completely disappointing. The curry looked nothing like lamb rogan josh — there were barely any meat pieces, mostly gravy and vegetables, and the rice portion was only half full in the box. For the price charged, this is very poor quality and misleading. Definitely not worth it. Very dissatisfied with this experience.

Tried the food for the first time and thought the vindaloo had excellent flavours and a nice spice level. I ordered it medium heat and it was a significant heat level so can imagine their high spice level must be very intense. The beef samosas came out crispy and piping hot with 2 kinds of excellent dipping sauces. One was a kind of yogurt sauce and the other appeared to be a mild, red chili sauce. Will definitely return to try a variety of other things on their menu…

Had a lovely experience at this place. Totally impressed with the owner and staff behaviour. They were extremely polite and welcoming. They served exactly what we wanted and whoever we interacted they were very generous. Coming to food, this place offers a good range of Indian cuisine with fine taste. Loved their food. We ordered vegetarian as well as non vegetarian dishes and both were equally good. Especially if you are looking for Indian over hot spicy curry then you can mention it to the hotel staff and they will customise the dish just according to your taste. I loved gobi chilli and mango milkshake the most. We ordered pizza which was okay not great. But all other food items like biryani, Kadhai paneer, special masala naan etc were delicious and just as we ordered. They have drink menu as well so you can have drink of your choice and they have very good tea available so all the chai lovers must try that if you visit this place. Just outside the hotel, there is a spacious parking lot and the hotel is on ground level so easily accessible for wheelchair. They have neat maintained washrooms. Overall had an amazing experience at this place.

I frequently travel the western 3 provinces and this is the best butter chicken I’ve found. Delicious every time. The portions are enough that when i pair it with some rice and naan I easily have 2 meals. The Naan is also amazing and the rice smells soooo good! The service has improved over time and the place isn’t the most luxurious but it is made up for my the fantastic flavors. The wife loves the shrimp biriani and my kido is crazy about the tandoori wings.

We stopped into Rivaaz after doing some holiday shopping for a casual date night dinner and we were so pleased with our experience.
The food and service was outstanding! The quality, flavor and portion sizes exceeded our expectations.
The place is very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
What else can I say?! We will definitely be back! We’ve been looking for the perfect Indian restaurant in Lethbridge, and I think we found it.
