I’m somewhat disappointed with what I’ve experienced. Im from the area but have moved out of state for my career. I come home every holiday season and try all the food that I grew up loving. I’ve always had special place in my heart for a westchester style delicatessen. Come in, and throw anything you want on a piece of the best bread in the country. NOSTALGIA IN EVERY BITE! I saw this sandwich shop on YouTube. The food looked amazing. And being that it’s in Scarsdale (the richest town in America) I assumed the quality would be top notch. BUT BOY, was I wrong. The chicken vodka sandwich had potential, but was ultimately dry and disappointing. One thin chicken cutlet on massive bread with little to no sauce. And dont get me started on the cheesesteak. Minimal steak, almost no cheese, with the onions being in more volume than the other ingredients combined. Dry, rushed and uninspiring. Maybe it was an off day for the staff, but with the new year approaching, I’ll only have the chance for a few more good sandwiches in the year. For $97 including tip for four sandwiches, I was better off going to Roosters or Rocky’s for half the price. This was my westchester heartbreak story. I’m gonna cry myself to sleep now.

Have been here several times in person and absolutely loved the sandwiches. We tried delivery- I do not recommend.
My custom steak sandwich was missing the chimichurri and arugula, making it a sad, dry sandwich. What’s worse is the same exact thing happened yesterday at another restaurant so I was really looking forward to this sandwich. They refunded the missing toppings but that can’t fix the heavy disappointment.

Great pressed sandwiches with high quality, interesting, unique, and delicious ingredients. A little pricy but portion sizes and quality make it well worth it. Small clean place with some seating (no waitstaff). My only complaint is that when doing an online order I’ve put things in “notes”, like “easy on the peppers” and the like and they don’t always seem to notice. I love the make your own option. My favorite ingredients to add are sautéed spinach, sautéed Mushrooms, crispy shallots, artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, Gruyère cheese, and aioli. My sister recently had the Wilson and loved it!

Great new sandwich shop in the area.
Prices may seem a bit high but each sandwich is easily 2 servings. All were great but our favorite was the short rib+Mac. I think we give the edge slightly to Mason sandwiches but it’s close. Will happily return.

Really loved this sandwich spot, super flavorful ingredients I got the “hot take” for some spice and my friend got “the press”. The staff were super friendly and helpful when it came down to helping me choose a sandwich I was going to enjoy. They had so many great options to pick from! Definitely going again!

I waited 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. I was OK with that but not after I received the sandwich I was not. I ordered burrata arugula RED onions and sun dried tomato. I got white onions with almost NO burrata. Take a look at the picture unreal!

I follow the Gavones from Snack Time on Facebook and so me, my husband and daughter had to try some sandwiches. We are fellow Gavones so we called in our order on 12/30/25 and bought the, Tony Pec, Lead Story, Hot Take, Headliner and grilled cheese. (Sorry we didn’t take pictures) by far my husband and I are huge fans of the Tony Pec, it looked as good as it tasted, and tasted as good as it looked as when the guys on Snack Time were there. Now, we were a bit disappointed with the Headliner, Lead Story and Grilled cheese as there was barely any meat in any of them.(for the price of these there should have been more meat) We would have loved MORE as we saw in the video that tempted us to try this spot. The Hot Take overall was a good sandwich with a good amount of chicken but there was nothing Hot about it, not even a lil spicy, as we were expecting some sort of kick with the hot honey.
Since I sent my husband in to pick up the food I’m unable to comment on anything other than their food.
Oh, let me not forget to mention their homemade potato chips are delicious … they came with all 5 of our orders
Last but definitely not least, Parking SUCKS especially now during the holidays so be patient and know most of the locals only look at their rear back up camera when backing… LOL

Absolutely terrible experience. I was sitting at a table, got up for less than a minute to grab a drink, and when I came back, another person had taken my table. When I politely told him I was sitting there and asked him to move, he refused to get up. Completely rude, entitled behavior—and what made it worse was the total lack of intervention from the staff. No one stepped in, no one cared, and I was basically treated like I didn’t matter at all.
This place clearly has no respect for customers, no basic standards of courtesy, and no control over their dining area. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, frustrating, and honestly shocking. A simple situation turned into an unpleasant confrontation that should never happen in a business that values customers.
I will never return here, and I strongly recommend others think twice before spending their money at a place that allows this kind of behavior and does nothing to fix it. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had—purely because of how it was handled.
