A hole in the wall Italian spot hidden in a corner of Highland village. The restaurant is small but is designed to seat customers comfortably both inside and outside. The menu items offer authentic Italian flavors, and there is brunch option available on the weekends. My friend and I ordered the truffle pizza and the eggs benedict from the brunch menu, and both were amazing! This is also one of the rare places in Houston that offers the cheese wheel pasta experience at your table. The sun lit through the window behind us, casting a rainbow through the water glass on the table, and it felt as if we were no longer in Houston for a brief moment.
A special shoutout to our server who agreed to take our order back to the kitchen for slight modifications after learning about some dietary restrictions. We were worried at first about inconveniencing the staff, but they did so with no comments or complaints. Very kind of them!
The price of the menu items are reasonable, and there is plenty of parking space in the plaza nearby, so this might just be the perfect place to enjoy a good meal for any occasion.

Celebrated my 40th birthday here with a party of 22. Small place, but it was comfy on the patio for all of us. The food was impeccable! The service was fantastic, efficient, and accurate. Hard to do with that many people each ordering their own appetizers, dinners, and desserts! Not a single complaint from any of our guests! Reasonably priced! The Cacio E Pepe was the whole reason I choose this place. Everything we had was delicious though. I didn’t get pictures of our appetizers, my son’s pizza, or our other desserts, but they were all delicious!! We will be going back!!

We first visited this restaurant at their Austin location and loved it so much that we decided to repeat the experience in Houston — and it was extraordinary.
Everything was excellent: the food was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A very special thank you to Mr. Juan, who took care of us with great kindness and professionalism. He truly made our visit even better.
We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back again very soon. See you on our next visit!

Cacio e pepe!!!! This dish is beyond good. You know that scene in Ratatouille where he goes into a food taste dimension if you will,…THAT is this dish. This cook but their foot, arm and everything and the kitchen sink in this dish!!. The taste was a melt in your mouth, float on the absolute fluffiest clouds other world dimension you’ll ever find! This is a dish you won’t even be able to rush through b/c you won’t want to. It’s just amazing! Other dishes were good also but nothing beats the cheese reel. The staff was VERY attentive and we never had empty drinks nor a dirty table. 20 out of 10 stars!!

Nico was our server tonight, amazing recommendations from him! Arancina Tradizionale, Cannelloni Con Funghi, Diavola pizza, and to top it off pistachio Gelato.
This is our second time here, the food is delicious, authentic, and not to heavy.

I don’t even know where to start, honestly it was amazing. This restaurant made me feel incredible, the food was super fresh and delicious, it really felt traditional and authentic. Without a doubt, this is going to be my new favorite restaurant, and my answer for anyone who asks me where to eat in Houston.
But it wasn’t only the food or the atmosphere. Juan and Daniel took care of us wonderfully, their service was truly impeccable. And it wasn’t just them, the whole team was great from the bartender to the food runner, everyone! It’s been a while since I enjoyed a night out this much. The mix of amazing food + service that makes you feel at home = perfection. Thank you guys for everything, I can’t wait to come back!

A little cozy Italian restaurant nestled in the corner. The cache de Pepe is the pasta inside the cheese wheel. You don’t actually eat the pasta in the wheel they prep it onto the plate for you. The serving is as expected good for 1 person. The 4 cheese pizza was decent.

I just moved into the city from Italy and was looking for an authentic food experience, after going to several italian restaurants I can definitely say the Cannelloni and Cacio E Pepe are very rich in flavor. Daniel was our server and was attentive and friendly, he invited us to two cannolis. Delicious and satisfied Thank you Numero28⭐️
