We ordered two appetizers: the Empanadas and the Croquettes. Both were really flavorful, perfectly prepared, and tastefully presented. My personal favorite of the two were the Empanadas. The sauce in particular was just outstanding.
Our main dishes were the Cuban Sandwich and Fritta Burger. Once again, both were perfectly cooked, had rich and satisfying flavors, and were good-looking dishes. The portion sizes were also great; neither too small nor too large.
The service was great, but definitely not over-the-top. It was relaxed and intentionally allowed my wife and I to have good conversation and enjoy the space. I felt like we were attended to, without being constantly watched over.
Finally, the dining area, bar, and restroom were all very clean.
This is, without question, a true 5-star restaurant, and Milford is blessed to be served such amazing food at such an amazing venue. I will certainly be revisiting Flamingo Drive to try all the other dishes.
We’ve been to Flamingo drive there twice. Both times the food was outstanding and the prices are reasonable! The vibe is perfect… Cuban Latin inspired decor and dishes, and live music completed the experience. This is my new favorite place and I will be coming back. Milford is thriving !!
I’m glad we did.
The greeter was extremely friendly (not sure if it was an owner/manager, but he also briefly waited at our table and I saw him behind the bar!). He gave me brief introduction of the restaurant and the history of the place, and explained the menu to us really well.
Atmosphere was very cozy. I could not stop staring at their peculiar wall with wave pattern of light bulbs. And their ceiling with multiple color LEDs! We sat at the hightop seatings, which wasn’t our preference but all they had at the time – but I still found it to be comfortable.
Food. Man…. the food. Maybe I was a little intoxicated from their delicious mixed drink, but I feel like I just had one of the best burgers ever in my life – their Fritta Burger. Also had their empanada and yucca fries, which were delicious, but did not hit the spot for me.
We’ve visited over hundreds of restaurants in Cincinnati in recent years, and this made it in our rare “Will Return” list!
I look forward to going back…and hope that they ask our pals to come back and DJ when the weather is nice and the windows are open 😉
And my plea to the owners….come open a spot like The Governor or Flamingo Drive in Pleasant Ridge!
