I would rate 5 stars for the food but 1 for the service. I have been here for a lot of time, but this time I was so disappointed about the service. The guy who served us today was very unprofessional. We ordered chicken PAD-SEE EW, but then he gave us CASHEW chicken. When we asked, he said he thought we said Cashew. Then NO APOLOGY at all! We didn’t want to make it any more difficult because we know it’s close to closing time. We had to ask him for straws, small bowls, plates, and napkins. I think he needs more training before he could serve another customers professionally.

I really hate to write this review I was so disappointed when I went last night. This restaurant is usually SO good and delicious. I don’t know what happened.
We ordered:
– calamari
– papaya salad (+$3 sticky rice)
– larb
– pad thai
– curry
The service was just awful. My server admitted to us 3 times that he forgot to put our orders in, and didn’t even apologize for doing so. When he asked us if we still wanted it, and we said yes, he wasn’t sure why. When we ordered our food, there was only one other table in the restaurant. The floors were so dirty. The food was not spicy at all despite being asked.
I don’t know if I’m going to come back.

This restaurant is always a family favorite! They were very kind to our kids and brought the kids food quickly so they were able to start right away! Adult portions are very reasonably priced and large! Thanks for the great meal!

The atmosphere is very cozy and there is great parking outside. The food was extremely tasty and the portions were generous and well priced. My only critic was the service was on the slow side and they didn’t get our bills correct (though we were splitting it three ways) they also forgot to deliver one of our orders of sushi until we were leaving So we had to box it to take it home which was a little unfortunate. I will return again in spite of this however.

Enjoyed our dinner. Ordered Tom Yum soup and Vegetable soup. They were so flavorful! Order 2 noodles dishes that were very large in portion, came out hot and also very flavorful! Service was very attentive and friendly. Too bad we are just traveling through because this would easily become a favorite!

Have had their food before, but it was my first time inside the restaurant. My table had yellow curry three different ways. Mine was yellow curry fried rice with chicken. Lots of deliciousness. I had it again for lunch today, and still have one more portion left.

Seating is basically sitting on strangers laps. Free lap dances for everyone! The tables are crammed together. The crab Rangoon shells were way too thick and way too much fake crab meat in the filling. The tom yum soup was ok but had so much meat and veggies that there was barely any soup. I ordered soup, I want soup! The egg rolls were ok but used to be way better. Way over priced. I won’t go here ever again. Too many other great Asian places to choose from.

Food and service were really good. I highly recommend their Thai fare. The Japanese cuisine was okay. Maybe a little overdressed with the sauces unless you get the sushi but still decent. The Tom Ga Gai, Papaya Salad, and Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice is the best I’ve had in Des Moines. Go for the Thai!
