My standards of clean didn’t even let me go in. Just going to the entrance made me feel like don’t do it. To me if what you see is low maintenance just when coming in, imagine the area where you don’t see. So I can’t say anything about the food, service or atmosphere.

My son and me went there on Father’s Day. When we first got there, there was a lot of screaming kids, that were very noisy. That immediately turned me off. Even though we got there before 4:00pm they charged us the evening rate. Which was $25.00. I thought it was quite expensive. We did not even eat that much food. To me it was not worth it. I don’t plan on visiting there again. The food was was not that great. Very disappointing.

No matter what anyone says, this place rocks. Asian Buffet in Meriden offers a wide variety of food options, including hibachi, sushi, and traditional Chinese dishes. Everyone can eat happily with such an extensive selection. We’ve had a few big family dinners for holidays here, and it’s been perfect due to the ample space, large tables, and the ability for everyone to eat what they want. Love it! To be honest, it’s a go-to spot for a satisfying meal with something for everyone.

There is a lot of food selection at this restaurant, and it is quite enjoyable and tasty. I went with my family for a Sunday lunch, I don’t remember the pricing for each person, but the total was around 140$ for 5 people & 4 soda fountain drinks. The mushrooms were particularly delicious and I would definitely recommend. A minor nitpick is when I asked for my drink but had to wait around 10 mins when it wasn’t that busy.

The buffet is ok but I’m addicted to Gobi Mongolian Grill and the grill here is not even close to being worthy. If I was to rate just th grill I would give it 3 stars. I went again today 10/7/22. It was good, not very good. I wnt at like 2:30 so some temporary shortages are understandable. Their hibachi grill is not good,, see pics.. the raw ingredients aren’t kept on ice, there’s not enough, (i get the mussels from the buffet 1st.) Need more vegetables, more sauces, on ice, and cleaner, 1/2 of the grill was disgusting and the cook could not care less.

Went here for lunch on Sunday. Plenty of space, service was good. I have dietary concerns and the fellow at the hibachi listened to me and cooked my food accordingly. Sushi was good. No hair in food.

I regularly drive 1 hour to have lunch at Asian Buffet. My friend and I enjoy Chinese buffets and have eaten at various restaurants for 25 years all over central and Southern Connecticut.
Asian Buffet is in our top 3 buffets over those 25 years. I am shocked by the 3.7 rating as of 10/14/25. Do be fooled. Don’t miss out on this wonderful dining experience.

The was okay at first but once I went to the hibachi is where things got bad, the same guy from the front came over to operate the hibachi station with out washing his hand and then he packed it with oil and sauce. After that I see the same guy taking up dishes. The staff wasn’t that helpful besides the lady that was taken out drink orders she was nice . The sushi was dry like it’s been there all day !!! I couldn’t eat that at allll… I see why they get all the bad reviews and it’s crazy cause they have the Potential to be great if they take care of a lot of stuff. Also it’s not really hibachi so don’t get fouled like we did!!!!
