This place is genuinely trash. Me and my wife ordered just 2 Cobb Zalads, we go through the drive thru, and they tell us to pull into curbside 1. I kid you not, it takes 20 minutes for us to get our food, while 5+ cars go through the drive thru.
Their excuse? “We had a lot of people come in”. Legitimately, every single car that came into the parking lot went through the drive thru, so they just pushed us back or probably forgot about this.
What did we get after waiting? We got chicken that wasn’t cut, literally almost whole cucumbers uncut, bread torn in half, (I checked the size, we didn’t even get the whole pieces of bread), lettuce that was a darker shade than the cucumbers and yellow (Like it was in the fridge for several days).
Genuinely, I’ve never had a positive experience at this Zaxby’s, always long wait times, incorrect food orders, etc. Out of the 50 or so times I’ve eaten here in the last 5 years, maybe 10 times have been without issue. It’s full of incompetent and lazy staff.
If you want Zaxby’s, for the love of God, go to the one at the Pinnacle. I’ve rarely if ever had a bad experience there (bar the times I got an unsweet tea when I ordered a sweet one, which also happens at this one). With the amount of time you won’t be sitting in curbside spot 1, you’ll be able to genuinely drive to the Pinnacle, get your Zaxby’s, and drive back in the time this Zaxby’s will give you your food.
What will the owner say? “Here’s this random website to voice your complaints, and we’ll work to improve it”. Here’s what I’ll say, bullcrap. It doesn’t matter how many people complain, they won’t fix their crap, and me and my wife will genuinely always go to the Pinnacle one, rather than this one on Cabela drive, because they genuinely don’t give a crap, and people are noticing which is why the Pinnacle is rated higher, while having more reviews.
I’m genuinely so done with this incompetent restaurant of one of my favorite restaurant chains.

Ordered wings. Hot honey mustard, and spicy Asian. The wings were… barely okay. They were done. And hot. But all of the wings had stretchy, tough skin and the chicken was low quality. Not crispy, at ALL. Not great by any means, but at least edible. The hot honey mustard was mostly tasteless. The spicy Asian was a little better, but very generic.

This location is often a toss up. I get what I mobile ordered maybe 50% of the time and today was not one those days. Still tastes decent but I’m getting tired of paying extra money for an order and getting something totally different. I get that food service is not a fun job but I just want my food bro.

We have been coming to Zaxbys for a very long time, but tonight, at the cabelas drive establishment, the food was just awful. This area store is very disappointing and for what my husband paid for dinner tonight, we felt like we were basically ripped off. It was nearly 30.00 and was not near what we expected. My husband’s too proud to go back to the store tonight an say anything but it would have been nice to have enjoyed our dinner, being able to eat a hot meal instead of cold pizza

I loved this place growing up in Arkansas. Now, living in Western Maryland, I have been without Zaxby’s for a good while. Over a family getaway, I saw it advertised as the next exit and had to stop and get some before heading back north.

Nice atmosphere for a fast food place. Friendly service, but the soap machine in the bathroom had a dead battery that should have been a red flag that the staff lacks attention to detail as it has an indicator showing battery levels. I ordered the Zak snack, fist time eating at a Zaxbys in a while. We have bushes and canes where I’m from. The chicken was awful. It was somehow overcooked and undercooked at the same time. It was stringy and tough on the inside and soggy on the outside. The portion was smaller than I remembered. I’ve had better gas station chicken.

There is absolutely no excuse for this laziness. If you can’t run a restaurant, CLOSE it. Imagine driving up to a window at Pals and being told “I’ll be with you in just one moment”.
It is a shame when a local restaurant can serve customers in a more timely manner than a national chain who doesn’t get nearly the same amount of business.

Wanted to try this place out so I did. All I gotta say is this place is s chicken place. And in my experience it was the worst part of the meal. Very small pieces that wasn’t flavorful. But the fries were pretty good and seasoned. The signature sauce was okay. But the garlic buffalo was amazing. The bread was decent also. Probably never come back there cause chicken was sub par.
