My husband ordered the Adana Kebab Dinner, and he kept saying something that really stayed with us — he has never eaten kebab and rice this delicious… even in Turkey. That says everything.
As for me, I had the best Lahmacun I’ve ever tasted — perfectly thin, flavorful, and authentic in every bite.
But what made this experience unforgettable was not only the incredible food.
Their hospitality is something you simply cannot compare. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it genuinely felt like being at home.
You can truly feel the love and care behind this family-run restaurant — in the food, in the atmosphere, and in the way they treat their guests.
Alaturka Mediterranean Grill & Bakery is now our new favorite place in Palm Harbor.

Alaturka Mediterranean Grill and Bakery in Palm Harbor is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and authentic, and the aromas coming from the kitchen set high expectations that were fully delivered.
I ordered the Adana kebab, and it was outstanding. The flavor, seasoning, and perfect char made it even better than many versions I have eaten in Turkey. The meat was juicy, well balanced, and cooked exactly right.
My wife ordered the lahmacun, and it was exactly how it should be. The bottom was crispy and crunchy while the top stayed soft, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic.
If you are looking for genuine Turkish Mediterranean flavors done right, this place is a must visit. We will absolutely be coming back.

This place is delicious! The tabbouleh is consistently the best I have ever had in the area. I have tried the lentil soup, lahmacun, lamb shwarma, grape leaves, turkish coffee, and the hot hummus appetizer multiple times! The food is always delicious, and the staff is always kind and helpful. They loop a video of menu items that can be helpful if you are new to Turkish food. It is closed on Mondays.

First came the olives and Turkish bread—spot on. We started with the grape leaves, and you’d never guess they were meatless. Delicious.
For our main course, we ordered the Alaturka Mixed Grill for Two ($50), which included:

Came here while vacationing. Found this gem while looking for Halal foods in Tampa. All I can say is that, they offer great Turkey food and desserts. The service is amazing! Got Turkish tea and unlimited refills

We started with the grilled hummus topped with bubbling cheese and slices of authentic Turkish sausage, served sizzling hot in a cast-iron pan. The combination of creamy hummus, smoky melted cheese, and perfectly spiced sausage was pure heaven, comfort food taken to a whole new level.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, out came the freshly baked balloon bread (Lavas), puffed up like a golden cloud, sprinkled with sesame and nigella seeds, and impossibly soft inside. It was the perfect partner for scooping up every last bit of that cheesy hummus goodness.
Every bite transported us straight to Istanbul. The food, the presentation, and the warmth of the service made the whole experience absolutely unforgettable.

Had their delicious sauced eggplant appetizer and the generous portion of grilled lamb kabobs on rice. A special benefit was that their meat is grilled to order – from rare to medium to well done which allowed me get great rare juicy kabobs!
Their Turkish beer Efes was a great smooth lager and Turkish coffee really complemented their rice pudding for dessert.
Highly recommended family restaurant with attached bakery with attentive friendly service.

This place is a hidden gem. The food was soooo good. The liver was crispy outside and juicy on the inside. Both Lamb chopped and lamb shank were tenderly and flavorful. The cheesy hummus top with pepperoni was licking finger good!!! My kids were fighting for the bread and hummus! The space was so clean and staffs are so friendly. We will definitely come back here and again and again when we are in town.
