First timer. Clean establishment beside the small amount of fruit flies. The young was very pleasant and beautiful. The cook was pleasant as well. The food was decent, I had the goat meal, and the cabbage and corn were fire. The rice had flavor but was dry. The meat was okay. The egg rolls were decent with good dipping sauce. My family had other dishes, and at best, they rated their food a 5-6. Im not sure I’d take that drive again, no time soon anyway.

All good things. The host was very warm, inviting, engaging and accommodating. The Moscato she recommended was delicious. Our bill came up to about $80 for everything you see plus 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine which is a great deal If you ask me. The jerk ribs are phenomenal as well as the seasoned jerk chicken. The macaroni pie is seasoned and was enjoyed. Everything is flavored beautifully. You can tell they pour their love into their dishes. Service was quite fast for the amount of food we requested. Please support your local businesses. If you aren’t afraid of seasoning, come here! Even the cabbage is delicious! Overall, we took a lot of food home, it was enough for 4 meals for both me and my husband. Cheers xoxo.

Everything a great locally owned restaurant should be. Food tasted great and was a great value: portions are large and meat is high quality. They put genuine effort into ensuring a great customer experience.

Pictured: jerk baby back rib (sample), jerk chicken meal with sweet plantains, and curry chicken (sample, real meal is as large as jerk chicken)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Jamaican Food & Even Better People

Tried this spot for the first time tonight and it was incredible. We had the jerk ribs and the brown stew chicken with rice, cabbage, corn, and plantains—every single thing was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The chef even surprised us with some jerk rolls, which were so good.

Service was excellent from start to finish, and we got to meet the owner, Jessica, who was fun, friendly, and clearly passionate about what she’s built.

Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

The food is insane, flavors are very authentic and intense, customer service is amazing. They take care of you and make you feel at home. Oxtail in my pic but I’ve been here close to a dozen times. Every single thing I’ve tried is delicious and every single time they treat me like family. Jerk chicken is best I’ve had. Chicken curry, ribs, goat, noodles, gumbo, you can’t go wrong. Their red beans and rice side option is really good too. More flavor than a typical red beans and rice dish for sure. If you like really spicy, ask to try some hot pepper sauce.

Food is on point..service was great. The waitress had a dry personality but the owner was training her and teaching her all the right things. The people who own the place are very engaged and service driven. Accomodates and very inviting. Plantain was delicious

This place is incredible. They do their best. Small business freindly service. Anyone leaving a bad review, completely not true. Not authentic enough, not sure the last time you were back home. This is as good as any roadside stand I’ve eaten at. Great fit for Milwaukee. Jerk chicken is great. Cant wait to try more.

I was looking for some authentic Caribbean food and atmosphere. Most places were closed. I searched again and this place popped up. When I first pulled up I wasn’t sure. My mom and I walked in and straight away I loved the colors, the decor and was like okay we will try this out.
We met the owner Selwyn and we hit it off right away. He was friendly and open. He gave us a couple of samples of this and that and we were amazed and delighted with every thing he put in front of us.

We started with his smoked turkey and spinach soup. it was amazing. Then he gave us a Mimosa flight. I liked the guava and the mango. My mom liked the coconut with pineapples and the strawberry. Then he made us this punch of something with fresh lemons and other things it was delicious.
We had rito and seasoned rice and peas we had white rice with the rito. My mom had baked Mac and cheese I am allergic so I couldn’t try that. We had jerk chicken and corn . Then for dessert we had a fruit Rum cake that was homemade. We left his place full and satisfied . We told him when we are back in Milwaukee we are coming to his place again. The music, the conversation, the food, you felt like you were old friends.

Thank you Selwyn for an amazing Guyanese experience ❤️

Great to see a new variety of food in the area. Had both the chicken and sausage gumbo and the jerk wings special they had going on, both were fantastic! Both had the perfect amount of spices and the flavors were incredible. Friendly owner and welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back here.
