Had lunch at General Joe’s Chopstix, it was okay overall. We tried the prawn fried rice, noodles, some veggies, rice, and chicken dishes. The portions were decent and the food was fine, though nothing really stood out. The flavours were a bit mild for my taste, but everything was freshly made and served hot.

Service was alright, and the place was clean and comfortable for a casual meal. Not bad if you’re nearby and want a quick Chinese bite, but not something I’d go out of the way for.

Fast and friendly staff, decent prices and selection but the food was pretty bad. Rice was extremely dry and the steak tasted nearly rare. The beef was far too undercooked, it tasted like I was eating bloody meat, I couldn’t even finish my food and at one point I just couldn’t chew it anymore and spit it out. Foul odor inside the restaurant that smells like sewage gas leaking into the building as well. If you’re familiar with this sewage odor issue, then you know exactly what I’m talking about, yes that odor is here in this restaurant.

I’ve never ate here before, I’ve driven by a million times for the last 20+ years. Now I see why I never heard much about it. One and done. Peace ✌️

I haven’t eaten at one of these places since I was a kid. I saw this place on Westheimer and decided to stop in for dinner last night. They give you a ton of food. The prices are very reasonable. The staffless friendly. My order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Most importantly, the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

I used to come here years ago and it was much better. The food quality has gone down. Not terrible, but I definitely won’t be back soon or maybe at all. Portion size and price are good, but maybe it is time to charge a little more, improve on quality, and possibly renovate the inside because needs work.

This restaurant was recommended to me by serval locals, and I’m happy I visited. I has the pleasure of having the Mongolian Beef, which was fantastic. The beef was tender, the sauce was it was marinated in was fabulous, and the plates overall presentation was amazing. The next time I visited I had Gen. Joes Chicken, another amazing dish. This restaurant thrives in customer service, Rama took my order, was very friendly, and went above and beyond, he lifted my spirit with a nice conversation, and is super friendly and funny. Many customers adore the customer service from employees such as Rama, and I strongly believe that customer service is this restaurant’s strong suit. 10/10, would come again!

I’m going to get to the point I ordered food off of Uber Eats, House fried rice and sweet and sour chicken my order was about an hour late getting to me The Uber delivery person showed that they were on a bicycle come to find out they were not in any vehicle at all Not even a bicycle as described The delivery person walked from the restaurant to me to deliver my food (40 minutes) from the restaurant when I called to speak to the manager he knew exactly what I was talking about he thought it was very odd and noticed as well that the delivery guy delivering for Uber Eats was not in a vehicle he appeared to be walking. Do you know how unsanitary and unsafe that is? So if you all order from Uber Eats and are in the area and choose this restaurant make sure that the delivery person is not walking the delivery guy’s name is Shane and I think it’s very genius of shane to have done this but not with my food he seemed to be unclean and if you know anything about Westheimer there are a lots of individuals walking around like that, I did not get a refund from Uber Eats and I did not get any resolution with the restaurant because they knew exactly what I was talking about and felt that it was odd as well, but they didn’t want to mess up their dollar so they did nothing….

The food was ok, my only bad experience was with the worker with glasses named V I believe. She looked like she didn’t wanna be there. Her customer service needs more attention. I’ve never had issues at this place until today. This made me not want to come back. There’s another lady that works there that has amazing service everytime we go but this lady from today was a disappointment. I took guests here for the first time and left embarrased after dealing with this lady.

I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice. They have bugs in their chicken, & when i called to report the incident they told us to come back the next day to either get a full refund or to remake the order. We went up there the next day to get our refund & the manager was being rude, didn’t even apologize for the incident.
