The food is cooked to order, and it is DEFINITELY worth the wait! Unless you eat spicy foods, Listen to the waiter when they tell you about their spices, cause even the medium and mild ain’t nothing to play with! . Shoutout to our waiter too, she was very nice and attentive! (Be mindful, they close early at 4 on Friday and Saturday). Will definitely be stopping here again the next time I’m in Chattanooga

Our first visit but definitely not the last! My wife loved her Chic and waffles (no heat). I had the wings and catfish combo (mild heat that delivered a nice kick). I was warned that even the medium heat might hit harder than than expected but plan on giving it a shot next time. Generous portions and very attentive service. A locally black-owned business loved by many, and the best classic R&B playlist anywhere!

Lemme tell you something, this is some of the best food I’ve had in my life hands down no questions asked. On top of the fact that the young man servicing us gave impeccable service, the prices are insanely reasonable.
In Atlanta this same plate would’ve been $30 or more and been salty, bland or sad combination of both with a side of bad customer service on the side.

The Flaming Rooster is a hidden gem! The atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal and the music set the perfect mood for the meal. The hale naw is hot as hell. The owner tried to warn us, but we tried it anyway. Whew, it’s fye! I didn’t like the staff because they were unprofessional, but I will go back because of the owner and the flavor of the chicken!
