I recently visited Cino’s Hot Bagels while out of town, and my experience exceeded all expectations. My uncle, who delivers for Uber Eats, mentioned that this place is the local favorite for bagels, and he was absolutely right!
From the moment I walked in, I was met with the warmest welcome. The lady at the counter was incredibly kind and patient as I struggled to decide what to order. She noticed my uncertainty and graciously offered suggestions that turned out to be perfect. I ended up purchasing two dozen bagels, each more delicious than the last, and treated myself to a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It was absolutely phenomenal!
The bagels are fresh, flavorful, and everything you could hope for. The service, however, is what truly sets Cino’s Hot Bagels apart. The staff’s attentiveness and kindness made my visit memorable. My only regret is not having cash on hand to leave a well-deserved tip, as tipping is not possible on the receipt. I am definitely planning to return, not only for the amazing bagels but also to properly thank the wonderful staff.

We walked in and were immediately greeted with extreme attitude and disregard for customer service. I had asked if they had a certain cream cheese and got a nasty remark about not having that cream cheese. Than the people i was with ordered and also received ridiculous attitude. While making our bagels they burnt mine and had to redo it. The place was filled with smoke and smelled horrible. No apology for that either. Once our bagels were finished we ordered a couple iced coffees. While the woman grabbed us ice she literally and i mean literally threw the straws at us and 1 fell on the floor. She proceeded to giggle at the fact, not grab us another straw, and continue to grab ice. Then my friend ordered an iced coffee after me and received a dirty look and a nasty remark. This woman did not have a name tag but she has a pony tail and shaved sides. She was extremely rude and inconsiderate. This experience made me not want to come back to this joke of a deli. Keep in mind the place was a mess, the garbage was overflowing behind the counter, there were crumbs everywhere, and I don’t think a single employee was wearing gloves. Horrible experience if I could give 0 stars I would. Never come here

I typically drive into farmingdale to get my bagels but I figured I would try this place as it’s right by my house. I can only speak on the bagels and cream cheese as that’s all I’ve ordered. bagels are extra fluffy and when I toast them at home they are awesome! slightly crisp outside and incredibly soft fluffy inside. i love the vegetable cream cheese. personally I don’t like giant chunks of vegtable in my vegetable CC. But here, the vegetables are minced up very small so I get the awesome taste of veg CC without the giant chunks like other places. for now this is my go to spot for bagels. I do wish they threw in a bagel or 2 free when you buy a dozen like some other places do as it’s always much appreciated. overall very satisfied so far.

The… best… bagels… ever. I’d shipped some to California, I’ve brought dozens with me to Texas and I’m bringing more on my next trip to California. Everyone I bring these to are SO GRATEFUL. Last week it was my turn to bring bagels to the faculty breakfast and no lie, usually we have leftovers but with Cino’s there wasn’t so much as a crumb left by lunchtime.

The bagels are made with real fresh ingredients, are soft and light, the owner knows most of the customers by name and he supports the Plainedge community. We have been loyal customers for years and every time I try somewhere else I am reminded why I love this place (and their bagels) so much.

I like this place and the food is always really good. But I ordered door dash recently and ordered two of the same sandwich, and only received 1 of them. Just putting this out there to please check the quantity of items on orders because this was supposed to be a special breakfast for me and my family and we had to scramble to figure out who wasn’t getting their breakfast because one of the sandwiches was missing. It was a little disappointing.

This is a great little bagel spot. You get a free coffee or juice with your breakfast sandwich. They are on grubhub, if you like getting your food with minimal human interaction. The store is usually not busy, and service is quick. The customer service is always good, as is the food.
Parking can be a little tricky on Sunday mornings due to the adjacent business, but it’s worth it!
