Moving reviews over from Yelp. This was originally written on 7/27/18:

Would this be a 5-star review if their location was in Chicago? Doubtful. Is it a 5-star experience given that they are in Litchfield and within a short drive of a lot of really lousy flat pizza coated in fake cheese (looking at you, Imo’s)? Absolutely!

This place is a gem in the pizza wasteland that is Central Illinois. Sure, you can find plenty of decent flat pizzas south of I-80 but good luck coming up with a behemoth pie. I know. I’ve been looking for a decent deep dish or stuffed pizza all over central & southern Illinois and into Missouri for about 20 years at this point and it doesn’t exist. Scratch that…it didn’t exist. Now it does.

Seriously – get in here now! Order a deep dish (love those marinated tomatoes) or a stuffed pizza and go to town on big flavors, yummy cheese, delicious crust, gorgeous tomato sauce and your choice of toppings (fillings in the event you order stuffed).

Thank me later…enjoy now.

The only downside is that their sausage isn’t all that. It comes across as if it may come in to their restaurant in a bag and possibly pre-formed and frozen. Beyond that, this place makes the best pizza you’ll find within about 200 miles.

Mmm, I love Deep Dish Chicago Style pizza and Nancy’s does it so well!

Our server Chris was great! He was on top of everything and very friendly.

The “Uncle Tony’s” is delicious! Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers and onions. Yum!

There were only 2 of us, however, we ordered a large so we could take some home.

I grew up in Chicago, I’ve had them all. UNO’s, Lou Malnati’s, and all the mom n pop places around the city. Basically, all the heavy hitters for pizza! For deep dish, This Nancy’s location has such a sweet sauce it’s a 10/10 from me. It’s my Favorite! The homemade sausage they use is very good too!

Worth the hour-long drive up from Metro-East St. Louis! Simply love the Chicago-Style Deep Dish! Large chunks of Italian Saisage! One recommendation, change the small chunks of Canadian Bacon to the thin discs/slices.

Best Pizza in the area! Perfect thin crust. Didn’t get soggy, was crisp and flakey! Toppings tasted fresh and the sauce was the perfect flavor with the right amount of seasoning.
If it was so late when we stopped in, we would have tried the Chicago Style. It looked and smelled good, as we watched a table of 4 devour it quickly.
Chris was very friendly & helpful. The drinks even tasted fresh.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. We are talking about stopping here again when in the area.

This was our first visit and after reading reviews we were excited to give this place a try as we drove through town. We ordered the meatball trio and a stuffed Chicago style pizza. Both were excellent! The food was clearly made in house and tasted fresh. The sauce was heavy with garlic which we loved. We would definitely too here again!

Delicious Chicago style pizza!
We were passing through from St. Louis, MO to Springfield, Illinois and didn’t want fast food so we opted to pull over and take a chance. We were a little disappointed at how long it took to get our food, but once it came out, we understood why. It was so delicious and tasted like homemade crust, The only worker we saw doing everything was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend, just don’t be in a hurry.

Service at a bar table wasn’t great as seemed to be putting the bartender out to get us drinks despite being basically the only ones there late afternoon. The margaritas were very disappointing as tasted like solid very sweet marg mix so we switched to beer. Took pizza to go and while the pizza was very good id avoid the bread sticks as they were dry.

Took the family for my husband’s birthday, who is from Chicago. He gives the Chicago style pizza a 9.5 out of ten. The Nancy’s boneless sweet BBQ wings were good, and the waffle bacon Ceasar fries were great! The Cannolis are delicious.

If your plastered on a Monday night than this is the pizza for you but if you just worked 12 hours and are expecting a mighty fine pizza then don’t bother with this place i ordered a $40 for a large family sized pizza I wouldn’t give you 99 cents for this pizza literally not even edible the middle of the pizza is raw the dough is beyond soggy and raw there is at 3 lbs of cheese on this pizza
Literally the worst Nancy’s pizza I’ve been to and I’m out of Chicago I was also in my semi truck when I picked this order up so i didn’t really check the pizza didn’t really think i needed to either
