Ray’s is a hidden gem in Hoquiam! Not only is the market well stocked, and beautifully organized, but the grill inside is a culinary masterpiece! Go for the daily special, try the taco plate or the quesadilla but don’t pass over the nachos assembled with homemade tortilla chips. Couldn’t recommend this store enough!

We were driving through Hoquium heading home and stopped at Rays. Ordered a smash burger, chicken wrap and fries. Came to $20 bucks. Felt like I was ripping the place off. Food was very good. Smash burger was so big the meat was outside the bun. Where do you see that? Chicken wrap was huge too. Shared a regular frie easily.
The two guys were very friendly, truly cared and were fun. Tons of regulars came through. You can’t miss here.

Great food and I enjoyed their Impossible burger. It is nice to have vegetarian options so close to home. My cat Fishcake seems to approve as well.

First time hearing about Rays Place! First off price of the smash burger meal was $13 super cheap good prices and the meal was AMAZING!!! Workers in there were very nice and helpful people. First time in last night & 10/10 would recommend this hidden gem!

Great store with awesome food and service, friendly vibe. We were there on Saturday, so ordered street tacos and HUGE burritos to go. Well worth every cent, we’ll be returning in the future!

The food was gobbled up before I had the chance to take a picture. Delicious! I picked up the Outlaw Nachos and added carne asada, perfect. I walked over to the drinks and picked up a mystery drink bag for $9, all 7 drinks were unique and I’m excited to try them all! Very very creative space and everyone was friendly.

Have had their smash burger a couple times now and they are very good. Large fries is big enough for 2 people- and they are also really good. Hoping to try their Mexican and BBQ days on weekends before summer ends. They do a great job.

Went here for the first time the other day and was greeted at the door. I explained we had never been there before, and we were not sure what to expect. The cashier escorted us over to three grill area and even told us what their specials were throughout the week and weekend. We decided on their special, which was smash burgers, wings, and sodas for $13. The food was excellent and very decently priced. 10/10 would recommend. They also are a tiny grocery store as well with a random assortment of items. Very cute little hole in the wall place with friendly vibes.

I recently moved to Hoquiam right down the street from Ray’s. I decided to try a smash burger with sautéed onions and a hot dog for lunch and my lil’ pregnant heart is so impressed and happy with the quality!!!
The smash burger was juicy and had melty cheese,and a ton of onions.
Also the all beef hot dog with nacho cheese was delightful!
The portions where enough for me to share/save for lunch tommorrow;

The new owner of this place (its now called Rays Place and just opened a few days ago) is super nice and excited about fixing up this little market! They are open for shoppers but still finishing some things, soon will even have a kitchen/grill area.
We stopped by for a coffee and breakfast sandwich, the breakfast sandwiches were good but on a hamburger bun which was a little unexpected.
They are still working on getting all stocked up, and are asking for recommendations for what people want in a ‘convenience’ store.
We are very excited to have this place close by to pick up things without having to go all the way into town – especially since it is clean, spacious and has a local upscale vibe.
They also had a grab bag for beer, which I thought was super fun and I was inclined to buy if it wasnt 7:30 in the morning when we were there.
Totally worth checking out!
