We stopped here for lunch after hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes. We got super lucky because we found a parking spot in the tiny parking lot AND we got seated right away! The service was good and we got our food pretty quickly. The portion sizes were pretty ample. They even filled the chicken chili to the absolute brim! That chicken chili… was incredible. It had the perfect amount of broth to substance. The beans didn’t overtake the chicken. It came out with a generous amount of cheese melted into it. Like I said, incredible. The turkey sandwich was huge! The wheat bread paired with the dill havarti well and the turkey itself was juicy and thick. I loved the tang of the red onions too. The kettle chips were sooo delicious and definitely addictive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We want to come back to try their breakfast in the future!

Great place for any meal of the day! We had lunch on July 4th after driving behind the parade (aka missing the parade) and got incredible service. We had for lunch soup, bean dish, and local catch sandwich. Arnold Palmer for the drink, nice and refreshing on such a hot day. Atmosphere was fantastic. We will be back when we visit again.

This was one of the BEST restaurant meals I’ve ever had. Our server, Ashley, was attentive and friendly. The meal started with a farm fresh salad and I would highly recommend the cherry balsamic dressing…it was divine! We also had delicious fresh bread while we waited for our meal. I ordered the short ribs and was blown away with the depth of their flavor. My husband had the whitefish which melted in his mouth and also had excellent flavor. My sons and daughter-in-law also enjoyed their meals – ribeye, chicken and pork chops. It was a pricey meal for my budget, but it was so good we all felt like it was worth it! We will definitely eat here again. The only complaint we had was it was a hot day and the restaurant was 83 degrees, so a bit toasty for our taste. However, the excellent food and service made up for that & we were glad we chose to come.

We were on our honeymoon, and hit this quaint spot on our way home. The waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. She shared that the owners lived on a boat and sailed for years, and all the decor was from their personal collection. I love fun facts, and when people seem to genuinely enjoy their environment. She was the stand out for me! I am big on service, and she knocked it out the park!

We ate dinner on 4th of July. All dinners come withba house salad and bread. We got a braided bread – both the salad and bread were delicious.

Kids white fish- bland, fishy – daughter didn’t eat it.
Veggie stir-fry with wild rice- this is the first time I saw a stir fry dish floating in a oaxean of soup. I didn’t care for the wet texture the veggies themselves wouldve been good but in the watery sauce – they were all super soggy. The soup/sauce didn’t taste good- was not balanced well- had a tart acidic taste to it.
Tea and spice grilled chicken- this was the only flavorful good dish in our order tonight. The chicken was well grilled, the Yukon potatoes with it were amazing (though v less in quantity).
The food i could say was of good quality ingredients, I wish they paid more attention to how they tasted. Our server was great and spoke well and paid attention to us.

Completely charming little blue building with gorgeous flowers outside. I sat very comfortably on the porch and the staff were all kind and attentive. My coffee was always full and Laurie’s recommendations were spot on. I got the eggs benedict and a piece of the coffe cake. The coffe cake was huge and I needed a box but it was warm and the cherries were a great addition. The benedict was wonderful, perfectly poached eggs and thick slices of ham. The only bad part is that I cant come back tomorrow. Laurie was a wonderful server, very attentive and kind. Cant wait to be back next year!
