I am so glad that we decided to give this place a shot. We sat at the bar and couldn’t have had a better cook/waitress Norma. Shes from El Salvador and we have been to her hometown many times. She was so friendly, funny and cooked our meal right in front of us to perfection. We had the shrimp scampi and the steamed mussels and they were so delicious and very reasonably priced.
Several of the other staff also interacted with us and it seemed like they worked really well as a team, helping each other, etc. I highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar and watch as your meal is prepared right in front of you.

The food was good. I simply had fried shrimp, hush puppies and coleslaw. I enjoy the food, but the service was excellent people. Everyone was attentive and very friendly. The shrimp was actually perfectly fried in my opinion and the crust was really nice.

I cane by to try this spot out since I live just around the corner. Glad I did! It was very good ! I got the monster bisque as the appetizer, it was so warm & flavorful. Definitely great for a cold day! For my entree, I had the shrimp etouffe & it was a large serving and soo good! Just the right amount of kick! Also tried the crème brûlée & it was just how I remembered, so smooth & the right about of crisp of the sugar topping !

The food was fabulous and the drinks were great. The food we ordered came out hot and ready to eat very nice server and the place is spotless. I will definitely be back because I want the gumbo. It was so good and they took out what I didn’t want. I definitely recommend this place!our servers name was Yaya or something close to it.

The food was ok but if you have someone in your party that doesn’t do seafood then they better not go along! They no longer have other options except for a side salad and bread. It’s super disappointing that they changed their menu in February. It’s definitely not for the better! I really loved their fried oysters and they do not offer that anymore nor will they make them for you. If you want crab, they don’t offer bibs and you have to crack and peel yourself. They will not cut them for you!! I have the crab lobster salad and it was just OK. Something needs to be added to their lazy Cioppino, even though I love cioppino, I wasn’t a fan It was mostly kind of a boring fish with no flavor and shrimp.

We usually go to the steakhouse, but we were coming through at lunchtime, so we gave it a try. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and it was a huge portion. He said i could try it if I wanted to. I didnt act fast enough though, he scarfed the whole thing down before I was done with my shrimp cocktail (which was also good, shrimp were firm and fresh). So I personally don’t know what it tasted like, but he said it was the best fish and chips he’s had in his life.

I always enjoy coming here… great service, the best clam chowder in town, and a delicious Captains Platter … try to save room for the key lime pie!!! They also have seating next to the food prepping area.. so you can watch the magic

We enjoyed the Oyster Bar. The only issue was the smoking, but it is a casino.
The food was very good and not too expensive. We had the oysters and shrimp appetizers.
The entrees were an okay size. We had the pan roasted cioppino which was good but not as much seafood as it used to have. I had the mushroom ravioli which was terrific.
The Lobster ravioli was good too but mushroom ravioli was way better for the price.
The lobster and crab rolls were good but kind of like a good egg salad sandwich but with crab or lobster.
We waited about 15 minutes to pay our check and then realized that you pay at the entrance.
Definitely, park at front surface Street not the parking garage.

Our service was horrible. It took over 45 minutes to get our dinner that consisted of two soup bowls and jambalaya. The waitress never checked on us this whole time to include never asking to refill drinks. Don’t waste your time or money on this place

Our dinner was generally good. My 1/2 dozen oysters were fresh and tasty. My shrimp and grits were a bit salty but otherwise enjoyable. My wife’s wedge salad was well prepared and the dressing on point. Here fried shrimp were savored and well prepared. The only other disappointment was they were out of the wine I ordered. Service was friendly and professional despite it being busy on a Saturday night and staff apparently missing.
