I went to Taqueria Arandas and the experience was terrible. Their customer service was awful. They charged me $9 for shrimp I never ordered, $1 for beans I didn’t want, and $14 for extra meat I never asked for. When I asked the waitress about the charges, she gave me attitude instead of helping. The food was just as bad. It was burnt from the hot plate, the beans and rice tasted bitter, and the enchiladas were so sour that my girlfriend couldn’t eat them. The chicken wasn’t even shredded like the menu described it was just cut in cubes. Honestly, even Jack in the Box has more customers and better service than this taqueria. That should say a lot. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment. The management clearly doesn’t care, and no one should have to pay $86.06 for food that tastes like it came out of a microwave. Stay far away from this restaurant.

Portions here are pretty small. I ordered a Machacado Breakfast Plate to go, and it didn’t come with potatoes like other locations I’ve been to, plus there was a lot less egg. For $11, I expected something a bit more filling. The place also seemed short-staffed, but shoutout to the customer service ladies — they were doing their best to keep everyone taken care of.

The staff at this location are very discriminatory. I ordered from here and as I came back in to use the restroom 20 mins later, a young and old man told me I couldn’t use it because I wasn’t a customer. This verbal onslaught/harassment continued even after telling/showing them the food in my hand that I just ordered from there. To make matters worse, the lady who took my order was standing right there. I, of course ended up using the restroom anyways. Food portion is not even as big as the other locations. You are better fit taking your money elsewhere.

I have been to many taqueria Arandas restaurants…and have had bad experience at this one in the past . Cold food and horrible waitress staff… I thought about giving them another chance that was a mistake. Food again was cold I asked for water and a margarita never got water the margarita was a lemon drop on ice with no tajin on the rim as I asked. The waitress never brought us chips or salsa. Too busy at the bar talking to a man didn’t even know what happy hour meant never coming back here again when o spoke to the manager he gave me a $5 expired coupon I would not recommend this place. Cold food lazy staff and u better speak Spanish if not your outta luck. My 10 year old grandson can do better service than these ridiculous non trained workers they hire here .

I suppose you’ll be ok if you’re Latin American. We were the only non Latinos and everyone was served water, chips and salsa except us. Thankfully, Houston has plenty of good Mexican restaurants that will be glad to serve anyone with los chaos! Viva Mejico!

This location has the best breakfast tacos but they too are hit and miss as you can see in my pics the fresh tacos vs the ones that look like they just had some old eggs and bacon lying around. Even the salsa is oily which is odd because that’s means it’s old. I won’t be back for a while.

I went around 3pm, the waitress was very attentive, their aguas frescas was very good. As for food I had Enmoladas, the dish was good. Overall it was a good experience. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the caldo de res either had veggies that were in the freezer previously or the veggies were just poor quality, and it made the caldo taste weak. My mother had menudo and the soup was too watery. This was my spot for caldo de res because the veggies tasted fresh and it was served in a larger bowl.

I go and order a burrito with ground meat to go and a small Jamaican juice. Figured it was $8.99 for the burrito couldn’t be more than $2 an some change. Well the lady tells me its $15 and some change. I’m like how is that if the burrito is only $8.99. Then she pulls out this huge drink from behind the bar I’m like ok that’s why. OMG the worst freaking burrito I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!!! The ground meat had no taste they didn’t even put the cheese that I asked and paid for. I will never again go there and if I wasn’t in such a rush I would have gone back to demand for my money but I had to get back on the road. Maybe it was a different cook or whoever prepared the ground meat didn’t season it or just cant cook cause that was horrible. Don’t spend your money here unless you wanna get pissed off due to spending
