We both had chopped pork and it was delicious! Both sauces (hot and mild) were tomato based, with the hot being slightly more vinegary and pleasantly hot. The mild was not the typically sweet sort with some unusual seasoning. The fries were hand cut, crispy, and hot. The slaw was not particularly remarkable, but not bad. It was creamy without mustard. Service was friendly and quick. Don’t be put off by the outside, I think it may have been a service station back in the day. Definitely worth the trip!

The best bbq! Lovely friendly ladies and a very clean and cute place inside. Great Parking. We got a boatload on our plates I didn’t even finish mine. Will definitely be back! We had ribs, fries, pork, cole slaw, and baked beans.

By far the best bbq around. My shop is right across the street from a Hooks, but we drive 15 minutes to eat Jabos.

Please stop here on your way to the beach!!! Dude, Jabo knows some BBQ. Total ma and pa eatery in the deep South with the best of Southern hospitality and comfort food. BBQ is excellent, fries and hand chopped and fresh fried. Hope you like sweet tea 🙂
