Service was excellent!! Ribs were so tender and flavorful that they didn’t need any sauce. Mac and cheese was a bit too mushy and not enough flavor. The okra was perfect. I loved the friendly atmosphere. Staff was very attentive. I would definitely go back. I would suggest they offer hot sauce.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. First of all, the place is small but really cute! Staff were very friendly. The ribs and brisket were very good, and the selection of barbecue sauces excellent. I think they had the Texas style and the KC style in the wrong bottles though. The sides were delicious, especially the fried okra. The BBQ baked beans were unique, but good. Try them. We will definitely be back.

Very good food. We went midday on a Sunday, and there wasn’t anyone else there. All of the meats we tried were delicious. The homemade beans cost extra, but they’re absolutely a MUST HAVE if you eat here. The green beans were the only unremarkable thing, but that’s so minor compared to the friendly atmosphere, the delicious food, and everything else. Cost is slightly high per portion, but not unreasonable.

Two meats, two sides. Plate the size of a to-go box. Costs me 26.00… The meat is cooked properly, but sadly lacking in unique flavor. The BBQ beans were awesome! The Mac and cheese was sadly on the bland side. Tried the cornbread as well. It had the classic sweet flavor I remember my aunt making (but without the light crisp). Overall the place was okay… Just not a memorable enough bang for the buck.

Brisket and pullep pork weren’t bad but the Ribs were nasty and tasted like they were boiled.
Every drink that came out of the soda machine tasted like dirt and mold.
Fried okra and sweet potato fries were good but both covered in salt…way too much salt.
Potato salad wasnt good and was more like a thick mashed potato.
The baked beans were different. More like chili but very good!
All around, not really sure we would go back.

Went on Saturday night. Was close to closing..like 20 to. Ask if we could still order, they said yes! Found out they were out of most items on menu. People in front of us got the ladt ribs, we decided to not eat. Then they said oh we still have 1/3 rack we just notice. So we went for it. Charged full price, the ribs were so dry and brittle worse than beef jerky. I got sides for my dinner. Literally come in a condiment cup size, macaroni was way over cooked. As soon as we got our food, sat outside seating. Doors were closed and loced..no salt no pepper. Would not recommend. The two gals were very nice but after spending $25 including tip I was not happy.

Cozy place with great BBQ! Friendly staff who know how to have a good time with customers. I love small towns, you don’t get service like this in the city!!! We’ve done both dine in & carry out that were a flawless experience. Definitely going back, definitely telling family and friends. Try the different BBQ sauces…love em all so I have a hard time picking a favorite & I really think it depends on what I’m feeling for dinner that day. Bon Appetit!
