I had the cheeseburger basket, that’s not too fancy of an order but I feel its a good standard to judge by. It was excellent, the service was great and I’ll be back for ice cream later. It’s not fast food so don’t expect that, although it didn’t take long to get our food. Edit: went back for ice cream…. it was awesome. There are several ways to get your ice cream, waffle bowl, waffle cone, regular cone, cup, sundae. I had the waffle bowl with vanilla and a couple of toppings, 5 stars!

The menu speaks for itself! Very extensive menu from ball stand snacks like nachos, corn dogs and hot dogs, frito pies, and soft serve ice cream. They also have every fried snack and flavor of ice cream/shake/malt you could want. Plus baskets of fried fish, chicken or shrimp, burgers (EVEN A VEGGIE PATTY and A BEAN BURGER OPTION YAY!!) sandwiches, wraps, and loaded fries. It’s important to know they cook to order so there can be a wait. The food is decent for what it is and if you are craving a flavor that sonic doesn’t carry, go here bc I bet they do. One of my faves is butterscotch and pickle. Not together of course! Take note they do not have a public bathroom and there’s limited outdoor seating off the main rd so prepare to take it to-go.

We were recommended this place from a friend. So we thought we’d get some food to try for dinner, it was a cute little place, however weren’t really super stoked about the burgers and sides we ordered along with to try.
The burger was missing actual flavor it just tasted like just a plain beef patty, the fries weren’t very crispy so they just basically became a grease ball and the mushrooms deflated and tasted canned.

Stopped at King Kone today around 1pm. There wasn’t a line as most were already finished with their lunch break. Service was friendly and helpful. I decided to have the “regular hamburger” and a side of tots. Took a few minutes to get some delicious, freshly made food. I regrettably only took one photo, but I have to say it was the only photo that was needed. The size of the tomato and onion slices paired nicely with a perfectly cook burger. Quality service, quality food!

King Kone has been around for a long time and they have some tasty treats. Most of the time, I gotta have a shake or ice cream cone when driving by. Not today though, it was going to be a long day working at the desk and I needed some fuel.
They have a good burger combo at a nice price but it wasn’t speaking to me. I decided to go all in with a Jumbo Cheeseburger, Frito Pie, and a cup of Ice Cream. Yikes, my eyes were more hungry than my stomach but I ate it all eventually.
The burger was well cooked and topped generously. It is Jumbo for sure and not an everyday meal. The Frito Pie was as good as it was in 1981 when I first tried it. How do they keep the chips so crunchy under all that chili? I live 30 minutes away and the chips were still crunchy. You can’t go without ice cream and this is my favorite spot. The portion is huge and the price is awesome

On my day out with Dylan the Great, my grandson, we stopped in for some ice cream since the day was warm, and we just left the park.
I’ve passed by here several times, and there’s always a line. Dylan got a strawberry/ vanilla cone, and I got just a Diet Pepsi.
After receiving our goodies, we went to the covered area where the picnic tables were located.
Dylan said that it was the best ice cream cone ever! It was huge, too.
This has been added to one of our favorite stops when we are on our “hang out days.”

One of my favorite places! My family has been coming here since I was too small to remember. The soft serve is amazing, and while as an adult I now find the “flavor pop” varieties a little too sweet, they were a big hit when we were kids.
I can’t not mention the pickle fizz. Maybe one of the weirdest, most divisive beverages in the world. Basically just dill pickle juice, carbonated water, and crunchy ice. I think it’s the perfect remedy to an over-full stomachache. My husband thinks it’s the worst thing ever invented. Your mileage may vary.

For all these places in Hot Springs that wanna serve maggots or washed hamburger meat or Ranch made with cornstarch. This place has been here for a long time and will be for a long time more. The Classic Burger & Shake place with,in my opinion one of the best chili dogs in hot springs I SAID IT!!! AND MEAN IT!!! Y’all don’t sleep on those Cajun fries either this place is 5 star worthy in my book. But y’all know me no 5 stars anywhere lol ok but skip dairy queen and sonic and come to King Kone worth it I promise!!!!
