Visited at 2:30 on a Sunday. Someone took my hoagie, but an associate made another, so that was addressed quickly and professionally. When I then went to get a coffee, lot of the carafes were empty, including decaf, with the sign to ask an associate for assistance. I have been to Wawa enough times to know they’ll simply brew a new batch, especially when you’re requesting decaf in the afternoon well before close. When I asked the associate, she very curtly informed me that they were out. Perhaps she meant in the entire store, but that wasn’t clear based on the trite nature of the response – I was left to assume that for whatever reason, she simply wasn’t interested in refilling the decaf station at 2:30 in the afternoon. Pretty disappointing, and enough for me to choose one of the other any convenience stores in the area next time I pass through and want a coffee.

Whenever we Doordash here, there is ALWAYS something missing, sandwiches aren’t cut, etc. Tonight I visited the store and purchased a sandwich which I discovered was burnt and inedible when I got back to work with it. Highly disappointing.

(1/16/2024)- It seems the management has made changes and the store’s workers are doing better at their jobs. There’s a new guy in the Cafe area- “C”, who came from another Wawa in Delaware. He does an excellent job (see pictures). There’s also a worker who is always working hard and is so upbeat. He will make you love the place. Give that man a raise. I raised my stars for those two especially.

I have come here a few times and every time I go to get a drink from the Cafe, it is HORRIBLE! I went in the last time, trying to give the workers another chance, but they messed up even worse. I ordered a simple caramel latte and my son a mocha caramel latte,both iced. Both were horrible and my son’s iced latte was hot. I went to tell the manager that I want my money back and she said, “We usually do not give refunds. This is like McDonald’s. If you order something and don’t like it you have to keep it.”. What a darn lie and what a lack of accountability. Train your darn workers and stop messing up!!!! Every other Wawa in Sussex Delaware has great workers who make the drinks right.

I went October 18th around 5 o’clock ordered 1 sub, they had 3 girls working back there making food. The poor oriental girl was tiring so hard working so fast while the 2 black girls talked the whole time doing NOTHING! They made 2 items the whole 15 minutes I stood there and watched I can’t believe people are ok with employees so ignorant and lazy

Went into Wawa today and the African American lady that was working the front register literally sickened my stomach by how rude and disrespectful she was to the people who did not understand nor speak English . The man didn’t even understand how rude she was being and making fun of him . He was trying to pay for gas on two pumps and because he said the pump number in Spanish she became rude . Rushing him and laughing at him telling him “okay ADIOS “. I’ve never seen someone with such low customer service or even human decency. Whoever the manager is there needs to take her off the register or have her fired bc the way she was laughing at the situation and making fun of what the man was also wearing shoes she does this in a regular basis .

Rude Manager!!
Mother in law is a Cancer patient and cannot to eat outside food as she’s gone through intense radiation. So food is carried from home. Stopped at Wawa, and requested if we could use one of their electric sockets to heat the food in a Crock pot.
Given that we had passed through 3 days ago and the supervisor had allowed us to heat her food, we were hopeful. However the Manager was very rude to my sister and said he didn’t care how we heat the food, we just cannot do it using one of their electric points.
I understand electric safety and all, but it seems like these Wawa staff cannot help but be rude to people.
