Came to line dance. Was enjoyable. Thursday Friday and Saturday night has a DJ. Dance lesson at 6 and 7pm Thursday. Parking filled fast but there’s street parking and a gravel lot right next door. Will go back again. Food looks to be bar food. Didn’t eat.

My wife and I use to love coming to the Honky Tonk with friends and family for Karaoke. I’m guessing ownership changed at some point because last night for my birthday was a completely different atmosphere. It wasn’t even that busy and the bartenders took awhile to get our order and when they did they spoke to us as if we were a nuisance. We ordered food and one of the bartenders came to bus our table, while we were still eating. My wife said we are still eating and the bartender said, “Oh it’s just 7 tots”. I mean she could have asked if there was anything she could take. Just poor customer service. You never get between a man’s wife and his tater tots. I want to give a shout out to Bill, I’m not sure if he still Djs at the Honky Tonk, but my family and I missed him last night. Overall this place feels like it’s becoming the spur. I do hope it gets better.

So much fun. A few friends invited me. Although I dont drink, I still enjoyed myself. There is free pool. Karaoke started at 5pm. I actually did sing. The whole bar was friendly. The Karaoke guy was so fun and helped ease my nerve to sing. The gal serving the drinks was awesome and even sang. She had a great voice. It was a great night, spent among strangers, who welcomed us.

We are on a road trip and found this place. It’s a bit difficult to find parking but so worth the search.

We ate had a Cpl drinks and watch the line dancing. It was so much fun to watch! Free entertainment …

The staff were great especially the mail bartender that was in. He really made us feel at home … this was Wednesday night! Don’t know his name

The food
The steak salad is absolutely delicious, the potato skins were tasty but a bit too much cheese for us, and the sour cream melts in the top, should be served in the side and def not on paper! Kept having to pick paper out of our mouth and it off the potato skins… but aside from that! DELICIOUS!

Would def come back next time we pass through!

The bartender was great, (Mark) considering how busy it was and he’s alone, I have no complaints about him or the service. The food, way disappointed. Worst patty melt I’ve ever had. Might be back for the drinks, but never the food.

Great service, the waitress was the only one here and me and my family walked into the restaurant with a huge party being attended and she came right over took care of us and everyone else. She was very professional and nice, food was amazing. Great place to hang out. First time here but will be coming more often.

Once upon a time I was a die hard advocate of this place. Like all good things this one came to an end as well. Multiple ownership changes and I can tell you when Julia Fender is involved loyal customers and staff are not important or appreciated. I can’t wait to find myself at Blue Diamond to sat hi to Mike and Tiffany. I am working on finding my next home to dance and not have to deal with the meat market Spur vibe. Thank you Loda, Dawn, and Brooke for all the effort you’ve put into branching out. Loved our evening dancing at Ollies in silverton last night and can’t wait to check out the other place by saniam brewing in the near future.

We stopped in while in town by a recommendation of the crew at Envy Signs down the road. The food was fantastic, service awesome, they even brought the dogs a water bowl. Service was quick, everything was great! This will definitely be a regular stop whenever we’re in town now.

My fiancé brought me here for a special night out, but the experience was very disappointing. Service was extremely poor—the bartenders were dismissive, more interested in socializing than helping customers. After 30 minutes we still couldn’t order food, get change for pool, or receive a properly poured drink. The bar wasn’t busy; the staff simply chose to be rude and neglectful. Our bartender was Hailey, she was very unprofessional and unfriendly. We decided to leave and make our evening great elsewhere. With more attentive and professional service, this place could live up to its potential.

I wanted to love this place so bad. It had a good crowd which was promising and fun to be around. After Covid times when you go out it’s hard to find busy places that make you feel like staying out. So for the atmosphere I’ll give this place kudos. But for that and THAT only. I wish I would have taken pictures of my husbands and my food. It was hardly edible. I got a $17 burger that tasted like rubber and he got some dried up steak. We joked that his plate was meant to be beef jerky. I was there for my friends birthday and just ignored the food though. Then as I watched (being the sober driver) I noticed the bartenders here are a total disorganized mess. They all seem stressed to be busy and like they don’t like their work. They were very rude to my friend when they gave his card to someone else with the same last name. They insisted he was too drunk to remember? He had a few beers and absolutely remembered that he started a tab and never got his card back. It took his wife showing them the bank snapshots online to agree finally that at some point they did in fact take his card, start a tab, then run it and close it with some other guys signature.
We totally get accidents can happen like that. That wasn’t the issue. They locked the card. But the accusatory behavior before they even helped try to locate the card and what happened was uncalled for. We didn’t expect much going into a place called the honky Tonk. We’re not messy drunks or Karen’s. I’d love to try again sometime if they possibly would invest in a better cook or menu and train their staff a bit better. Hire people who Want To work and love the night life.
