Claddagh Pub is a classic Irish-inspired pub and bar in Canton that’s been a lively neighborhood staple since the mid-’90s. It’s got that authentic, old-school pub feel with Irish decor and plenty of TVs — perfect for catching games, grabbing a pint, or hanging out with friends over casual eats.

The vibe is friendly and laid-back, with both indoor and outdoor space (including a courtyard that feels great on warmer days). It’s the kind of place where you can show up for happy hour, brunch on the weekend, or late-night drinks, and still feel comfortable lingering for a while.

The menu has classic pub fare — everything from crab cakes and cheesesteaks to wings and soups — and the portions tend to be generous. Locals especially like the Thursday crab cake special and the casual eats paired with cold beer.

If you’re into sports bars with character, good drink specials, and a welcoming crowd, Claddagh is a solid pick in Canton.

Stopped into Claddagh Pub in Canton for their Thursday $29 crab cake special and it was absolutely worth it. The plates came with two large crab cakes packed with lump crab meat and just the right amount of seasoning—no filler, just the real deal. The sides were hearty and flavorful; the mashed potatoes were creamy, the mac & cheese was cheesy and rich, and the Brussels sprouts were a great touch.

The portion sizes are generous, and you really feel like you’re getting a quality Maryland crab cake experience without the tourist-trap prices. Service was friendly, the food came out hot, and the atmosphere was classic Canton pub—laid-back but lively.

If you’re in Baltimore and want authentic, well-done crab cakes with a great neighborhood vibe, Claddagh is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for the specials!

I’ve been coming to this place for a while now. This is my go to spot to watch any sporting events, whether it’s an NFL or a Premier League match. The food here is amazing as well, my personal favorite being the buffalo wings. The orange crushes here are made fresh and they’re cheap too. All of the staff here are nice and attentive to all of the guests.

Honestly a pretty nice salad program. Can be a madhouse during game days, $1 bud light nights or St. Patrick’s so would avoid it then. But good spot to pop in for a casual dinner on a quiet night.

Stopped in for a Bloody while in the neighborhood. Kevin the bartender made them with love. The atmosphere was refreshingly upbeat for a bar early day. All smiling faces and a soccer crowd to envy. I say all this as a bartender with +20 in business…go visit Kevin. This man is doing things the right way. Fresh squeezed fruit in the very cocktail, a shout out to everyone who walks in the door, and a pro flow that keeps you confident that no matter how busy, your drink isn’t far away. I know greatness when I see it…he is the real deal. Cheers to you Kevin!

Decent food and service. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and vibes. We tried the half Maryland Crab half cream of crab soup with extra crackers. It was a great choice for a fall day.

I’m always up for an Irish pub experience. The interior looked and felt like an old pub. The wait staff was very friendly and quickly seated our party. The food was tasty and the wait was not long. The drink menu is pretty substantial and diverse. Overall, this is a great experience with equally great food.

Over serving patrons, rude service and management, general lack of care. Definitely go here if you enjoy getting tap lines sprayed in your face.
