Terri the manager greeted my family upon arrival. She washed her hands prior to providing our delicious cookies we ordered. Our food was hot and cooked to protection. It was ants on the window seal and we had to change our sitting but other than that very pleasant experience because of HER.

I decided to go to Zaxby’s for a late dinner. Upon my arrival, a young employee informed me that they ran out of Chicken Fingerz. I went there for the Chicken Fingerz, but I opted for a sandwich meal instead.
While waiting for my food, I discovered that the soft drink dispenser was acting up. I mentioned this to another young counter person, and she gladly filled my drink for me.
My meal was ready after a short prep time. The Fries were very good and my Chicken Sandwich was well-prepared and very tasty. I added cheese and bacon when ordering. *This was the best Chicken Sandwich I’ve eaten In a long time.
During my visit, I noticed a large spill near the trash can. I mentioned it to an employee, and the spill was cleaned up in less than 5 minutes. They obviously care about Safety and Service at this restaurant.
*I made additional visits to this Zaxby’s, and the food and service have been great!
I’m really glad I went to Zaxby’s for dinner! I’m really looking forward to my next visit!

Edited- A mere 10% discount to bus drivers and coaches IS NOT A CORPORATE POLICY. I checked with corporate! Your Manager is a liar. The store is a franchise. THEY SET THEIR OWN DISCOUNT POLICIES!

I brought you alot of customers, which you made alot of money off of. I was floored when we were told coaches and drivers only get 10% off their bill!! This is a corporate rule. Are you kidding me?!
McDonalds is right across the street. They give coaches and drivers a free meal, not a discount, but a free meal. Can you guess which restaurant I will

they don’t deserve any stars. 12/4/2025 ordered mobile order @ 9:27 pm for drive thru but it was packed. order was to be ready at 9:45 pm. went inside because of the drive-through being so long. Barely got acknowledged. The girls upfront were going outside as well into the bathroom. very Disrespectful and disgusting. Especially when I spent almost $40 worth of food. If a manager or someone could reach out to me, I would really appreciate it.

I ordered 2 regular fries for 7.18 and this is what I got. It’s 3.59 for regular fries on uber eats and I only get 11 fries? Barely even 11 cause some of them are little pieces. I just wasted my money and uber eats couldn’t even resolve my issue.

Today was our 4th visit to this location. We stop here as we travel between NC & NYC. We have stopped on different days of the week and different times of the day. Each time the soda machine was not producing proper drink mix if at all. Customer service has been nearly non-existent.
Today did it for us. The ladies room had standing water on the floor, there were 2 families in the restaurant dining, and 1 at the counter waiting for food. We placed our order, was advised the ice wasn’t dispensing so they gave us 2 cups of ice. I made my husband’s Coke Zero and sure enough…the mix was little syrup, mostly carbonated water. They give him one from the back and we sit down. After 20 MINUTES we finally get the food. And honestly I would have been ok, but the fries were cold and there was no toast on my Big Zac meal and they didn’t give him his sauce requested. So I go to the counter, I have to raise my voice to get someone’s attention and ask for toast and sauces. They tell me they will bring me the toast. I sit down we eat, no toast!
I’m just done y’all. Do better!

No welcoming voice or service. Just a “order when you’re ready ” at the drive thru and a “here’s your order”. I ordered the Asian wrap but should’ve ordered the salad since the wrap was split open and all over the container. I had to eat it with a fork. Not exactly what I wanted. People are just rude here. Takes a long time to get your order, too. I don’t know why I keep giving them another chance but this IS the last time. If your not in a hurry and don’t care about rudeness then it’s your kind of place.

This is not the first incident with the One female that was working tonight. Seems every time she works, there is an issue with orders.
I placed my order online at 8:20pm and Zaxby’s online confirmation stated that my order would be ready by 8:45pm. I arrived to Zaxby’s at 8:30pm, the drive thru was rather busy.
Since I had 15 minutes to go, I pull into the drive thru line and assumed by the time I made it to the speaker, it would be 8:45. By 9:10, I’m still waiting in the drive thru line. The White in color car in front of me finally gets waited on. I pull up to the speaker and thought, I’ve already ordered and paid, I’ll pull to the window. The Only car at the window was the White in color car. The female driver receives her food and finally pulls off after a discussion with the female working the window.
As I pull up, the female automatically assumed I had a Doordash order, and I stated that I didn’t, that I ordered online at 8:20pm and here it is 9:15pm. The female worker tells me that she is the only one working, nevertheless I see another female walking at a fast pace towards the back.
The female worker (name unknown) finally hands me he two drinks for my order and my food with a stern have a good night!
I live an hour from Elizabeth City and when I stopped to give my girlfriend who is working her food, I decided to eat because I hadn’t eaten much all day, plus I just completed my work day. When I opened my plate, it’s sad. I ordered the chicken finger plate (5) tenders and paid extra for a large plate upgrade. No Slaw, bare minimum of fries and chicken bites!
Zaxby’s, if your employees can’t honor someone’s order correctly or you are experiencing staff shortages, DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS ONLINE because I worked for my earnings and this so called food was just a few cents away from $30 for two plates!

Food is always amazing but the only downside is they never have milkshakes because “the machine isnt working”. Ive been living here for almost a year now and have ate here many many times. Each time I ask if they are doing milkshakes, its always the same answer of no sorry the machine isnt working. Yeah it hasnt been working for 6+ months
