The restaurant is a counter order and then seat-yourself place. There isn’t any real type of atmosphere, it’s just a restaurant. They bring out the food and clear the table afterward.
The restaurant was busy but clean. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The food was better than expected and the portion sizes were very good.
I would not hesitate to eat here again or suggest it to anyone for a meal.

The Pecanberry Salad was absolutely amazing!! The strawberries and blueberries were fresh, the grilled chicken was tender, the candied pecans along with the raspberry dressing made it a satisfying and refreshing option. I highly recommend for a light lunch or dinner option.

Ordered the king club and when I got home and opened the box every single piece of toast (6 pieces) was burnt black. All you could taste was burnt toast. Then when I called to see why they would even let something like that leave out there restaurant was told idk I didn’t make it.. smh won’t be going back make sure if you order you check your food before leaving

Today was the last day I will be ordering for our office from this restaurant. No matter how much you pay for extra items, or for the original item itself, the result is pitiful. I personally ordered the club wrap today with ham, turkey (and extra turkey), cheese, mayo, add bacon, lettuce, add spinach and got what could be rolled up and compared to a soft shell taco from Taco Bell size item. Far from what I expected. Take a look at my picture. Pitiful. It should have been a filling wrap full of turkey, ham and bacon with cheese, lettuce, spinach. Also, I’ve ordered the giant spud before and requested extra toppings and it came looking barely topped with anything. Just because we’re not in the store we get screwed basically.

My potatoe arrive lukewarm, not hot. We went Sunday after church and were disappointed by the slow service. The workers who were there were clearly trying their best. McAllister’s have a sign out front that says looking for help and they really. I really want to leave them a great review but I cannot. They took quite a few orders and then they had to stop to work on getting those orders out before taking more orders. After that, we did not wait for a table, but waited a little while for the food. Everything was just slow.

I thought I would try McAllister’s for the first time, and we never go back. I arrived, the energy was non-welcoming and negative. I asked for a coffee and they said they didn’t have it, although it’s on the menu for 2.99, on a cold, rainy day. I said I’ve never been here and was trying to figure out the menu, was received with mumbles, non-explanation, and the poorest of customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I actually never leave reviews on anything, but my experience was so bad. I felt compelled that it was necessary.

So if the McAlister’s that’s on Congaree Rd is 5 starts for being so good, this location has to be 10 out of 5!
This location exceeded the other in every way.
The atmosphere is brighter and bigger and better.
The staff was super nice and helpful.
And the food was hands down the best McAlister’s I’ve ever had (and they’re one of my favorite deli’s.)
I highly recommend!
