I’ll keep this short. I came in around 6:00 p.m. on a weekday, and it took a few minutes for someone to come to the counter.

I ordered the chicken shawarma pita because they said it would take 10 minutes as opposed to the shishtwook, which would have taken 20. In the end, the chicken shawarma came out in 20. I should have stuck with the shishtwook.

Pita was decent. Pretty standard. Great price – around $7.

Came here for lunch last week, for 11$ this was exceptional!! The shawarma was perfectly roasted and seasoned, along with the pita and rice. The hummus tasted homemade and the salad was a perfect side, love this place so much!

This was definitely a different crave for me, I was thinking of a slight healthy but tasteful meal which that it was! The steak was pretty tender but could’ve had less fat & ends I prefer all meat with no fat and been more tender. I also added chicken to my wrap & the chicken was very good & the seasoning mixed with the steak, mixed veggies, & the sauce they put on their shawarma’s! The fries were well seasoned & fried crispy but soft in the middle, I say it definitely was one of the best shawarmas I’ve had in west Michigan! I definitely will be supporting and giving this establishment another shot and see what else on the menu is really my favorite to say the least because 1 item can never give you the full experience of a restaurant or its best dishes, as well as factoring I’ve never really ate middle eastern style food much besides the shawarma’s because it’s what I am familiar with! The environment was chill as well as the employees, also have affordable pricing not to costly to make a custom request! what’s your favorite middle eastern dish? Or something you’ve liked?!

Came here for dinner after a concert at Miller Auditorium. Their hours are awesome, they’re open past midnight! The cashier was very friendly. I asked for some waters and he gave us some without charge

We started off by sharing some hummus. That was solid hummus! Super creamy with great taste, I wish I had more

For my entree I got the Lamb Mandi. I hate to say it but I didn’t really care for it. Some of the lamb was fatty, and the onions were very strong! I think it would’ve tasted better if they were caramelized. But between the good service and that really good hummus, I’d definitely give it a second chance.

Tried Middle Eastern Appetite today! Always passed by this restaurant but never stopped, glad I did! Got the Shish Tawook! The chicken was grilled to perfection and had tons of flavor! The Pita was flavored nicely. I took the chicken and rice and veggies and put them all in the wrap and ate it! The rice was a great addition to the plate, and when I was done with the pita, I mixed everything and ate it! The restaurant is roomy and cozy and welcoming! The staff was amazing as well and really appreciated the recommendation especially for someone who doesn’t eat a lot of middle eastern food!

We had gone to a popular mediterranean restaurant at drake only to be told the dine in was closed at 8:05 itself while the restaurant closes at 9. Although people were still dining inside and we are regulars there.

Anyways we were glad to go to Mediterranean Eastern Appetite instead. The food was really nice and fresh. The best thing was the great service provided by the two gentleman which the other so called popular restaurant can learn a thing or two from.

The restaurant is located near the campus and is a big convenience for people looking for “Halal” restaurants.

Well, the entire menu is halal and no alcohol is served. That makes this place perfect. However, the food quantity is not proportional to the price. In addition, the shawarma and kofta taste are okay. The description in the menu is not accurate and you can’t figure out what comes in the plate until you have it. The food is served in boxes although we dined in. I don’t prefer to eat in takeaway boxes if I dine in. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The bathroom is okay and clean.

The foods of this place is amazing. It’s so tasty. I have tried some of their items, could find anything to complain. All of those were just awesome. The Fried chicken is the best of bests. I think It’s better than any other restaurants. This place is highly recommended.
Thank you

Middle Eastern Appetite is delicious, absolutely worthwhile. I went in with a big appetite and left full with leftovers. The falafel might be the best I’ve had.
