This is absolutely the best Hungry Howies I’ve ever eaten at & experienced. The staff yesterday afternoon around 3p were very friendly & professional. THE PIZZA…was heavenly!!! The crust didn’t turn into a brick the next day either. I feel the staff during yesterday’s 3p shift like their job, have awesome cooking skills, & value customer satisfaction. I live near Duff Rd & will bypass the 98N location just to get excellent customer service & super fresh & tasty food. THANK YOU

All these negative reviews and the fake apology they leave! I have seen several reviews where the manager hangs up on the customer and that happened to be my experience today! I have been going to this hungry Howie’s For about five years and have had minor problems but today took the cake! Ordered a pizza at 12:23 It said it was on the road by 105. I live 5 minutes away And when I called to check on it at 1:35 The manager was very rude even though it was A legitimate inquiry. And hung up on me.. I called back to cancel my order because I do not Have any desire to do business with such a disrespectful company. She was very rude again On me again after she assured me that she would cancel the order. Two hours from the time I ordered The pizza it still showed up! I tipped the driver for his time and asked him to make sure she refunds it. Ps. I did receive a refund. And just a little note to the manager. Take accountability for issue you may be having in your store can save you a bunch of bad reviews. You offered no explanation or Solution, You resorted straight to Being annoyed with the customer that came to you with a genuine Question. I was not rude by any means I just had valid concerns. And I was met with Extreme unprofessional rudeness and just Blatant disrespect by hanging up For no legitimate reason. And Whoever owns the store do yourself a favor and reevaluate your management! Horrible! The pizza had a hair in it, the dough was weird, barely any toppings, the pizza was falling apart and stuck to the box. My grilled chicken salad was gross and my family complained that the cheesy bread tasted old and odd. Even my 2 year old spit it out and said “yuck”. When I went for a refund they said I could only get one for the pizza because none of it had been eaten on. The pizza was easy to identify as gross due to how it looked, but we had to throw out the other food based on taste. I told the manager that ik she couldn’t do anything about the cheesy bread but that they should throw out that batch as it seemed bad. She proceeded to tell me that everything is made fresh there so it couldn’t have been old dough. I’ve worked food before, just because you make it “fresh” everyday-from scratch or not- you can have old ingredients to make it A complete waste of money and time!

Less than one !! I called and the manager answered the phone yelling at his employees thinking he answered the phone so I could order first he asked me if I knew where they were located and I said yes (I was actually right outside with my little ones in the truck) he was yelling the whole time. I had to ask him several times if he was talking to me? he was rushing me off the phone I ordered three large pizza with extra cheese all three of the pizzas had holes with missing cheese and toppings but I’m looking at other pics of people’s pizza and they look full of cheese so why is my pizza full of holes? I should’ve just asked for my money back and went to the north side! They remade it they ain’t put no extra cheese in my pizzas.. look at the other pizza pics and you tell me. this is the first time I’ve had this problem at this place. I’m just not happy.

The pizza sucked. We love our HH over in tampa but not here in Lakeland. The taste of the pizza was gross and they put the sesame seeds on the cheese not the crust. It called flavored crust for a reason. Put it on the crust gheez.

It is a disappointment that the neglect of the owner includes not providing clean drinking water for its staff at this establishment, the care invested into the infrastructure translates through to the quality of food and service at this establishment.
The employees who work here must fill a Pür water container for their drinking water or otherwise bring their drinks from home or buy them from the establishment. This is not ethical and is why I review this place so low

Call to place a order. Person on the other end said my pizza will be ready in 30min. Got there had to wait in line. Because the person that was in front of me. Was just standing there blocking the window.That make me upset. Finally he move out of my way. I was standing at the windows for 10 minutes then this lady came to the window. I said I am here to pick up my pizza. I said my name is Paula. She replied it is the oven. I waited for another 15 minutes. I was fuming. All the other times the service was excellent. Pizza was delicious. It look like they was short on help.
