I recently had ordered my wedding cake from Carolinas and I was not pleased with the outcome. The cake was not what I imagined what it would be when seeing it. The icing had melted through each tier which was very disappointing. The flavor was nice but when actually having to cut the cake the amount of small dowls in each tier was unimaginable. It was impossible to cut a clean slice. When picking up the cake it was still being worked on and the icing was so fresh that the owner had asked if we had bought something with us to refrigerate the cake in until it made it to its destination. I’m am sad to say that this was an unpleasant experience and will not be returning to this bake shop for any future events.

So where do I begin Carolina is a lifesaver, it was my sister’s birthday and I had no idea where I was going to get her favorite Dominican dulce de leche cake. Mind you I live in Yonkers so I was going through it thank god for the internet and how I came across CarolinaDesserts. So I called her on the same day as my sister’s birthday, and she made it happen: the cake, the design, the size, and oh, baby, the taste was impeccable. Honestly, it was the best Dominican dulce de leche cake I have tasted. It brought back so many memories from when I lived in Washington Heights as a child. Also she has Flan and that was delicious Thanks again I greatly appreciate all that you did for my family ❤️

I needed a birthday cake for my granddaughter. I was near by so I stopped in for first time. She was so kind that she made one while I was waiting. It was the best tasting cake at the birthday party. The quality and flavor were a stand-out hit among many others at the event. It was a delightful experience!

Carolina is amazing at what she does cake ordered came out exactly like the picture. And it was soooooo good! It’s definitely tough to find good Dominican cake in the area so this was perfect . Her prices are reasonable and she is very sweet. Will definitely be using her from now on

Love the quality of the baked goods made by Carolina. Have been going to her bakery for many years, and the dominican style cake and frosting (suspiro) is delicious. Have yet to find another bakery in Yonkers or nearby that can compare to the flavor of the dominican cakes and fillings. Also, my family loves to get the individual desserts of flan and cheesecake. At times, I have had an order delayed, but I completely understand as she is a small business/bakery owner that personally completes most orders. Also showing my appreciation for completing my order, which I placed with short notice and she accommodated me due to the impending snow storm. *side note* prices have increased, which is necessary due to inflation but still worth it. Also, picture of cake that looks misshapen was due to my mistake when opening.

So yummy, we forgot to take a pic before we ate it. Order this Dominican cake on the same day and Carolina’s bakery delivered. This cake has guava filling and it’s my absolute favorite. This cake is made fresh and didn’t last the night. I would recommend this bakery to all!

She listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life perfectly. The Dominican cake was not only beautiful but moist and flavorful, and the cheesecake was a huge hit—light, creamy, and the guava on top was the perfect touch.
