Wouldn’t go again, 16$ net (!!) for a Smashed Burger that was very fatty/oily and didn’t have great taste. The ingredients were likely if good quality but it wasn’t prepared well. Burger cheese that had little to do with cheese. The fries might have been from fresh potatoes but still mostly white and mashy.
Again, can’t recommend from the instance of experience.

I have been here several times, since we live an hour drive away from Santa Barbara and come down for the day every so often, always our food stop! Great burgers and The new smash burgers are excellent as per my wife and bro/sis in law! I had the Montecito Burger myself, sooooo good.! All burgers come with fries, Onion rings are great too. The menus and pics of menus have changed so it may look different if you go. Highly recommended!

We just had the best customer service experience at Mesa Burger! Three young men—Damien, EJ, and Nathan—took our order, served our drinks, and brought out our food. They were attentive, polite, and so thoughtful in the way they cared for every customer.
We also noticed how hard they worked to keep the restaurant clean and welcoming. It’s rare to see such maturity, teamwork, and genuine kindness in young employees.
Kudos to Mesa Burger for hiring and supporting such outstanding young men. They truly made our meal a wonderful experience!

It’s been a long time since I made this original review on their food is still delicious and hot and the service is still great. It is $10 Burger week here in Santa Barbara and this is the best bet going!
Highly recommend for Mesa locals as well as visitors alike.

We stopped in for a quick meal with friends, never been there. The burger was tasty, onion rings a little too cooked but okay. But the place was dirty. Table’s and chairs not clean and my chair stuck to the sticky floor.

Chef Cat Cora’ burger joint does not disappoint. Multiple napkins required but well worth the risk. Great sound track. Small but good wine selection. Burger bun was fresh & delicious. Cool combo of premixed burger choices. Panko onion rings were fab as are original fries. Worth the Uber from the Funk Zone.

Mesa Burger is our go-to spot for burgers after evening events near my daughter’s school. The Mesa Burger with a fried egg is my favorite, and the onion rings on the side are a must-have. The small but decent beer selection is a nice touch, too. The only downside is the parking in the shopping center, which is always tight, but it’s worth it for the delicious food and friendly service. If you’re looking for a great burger joint in the area, Mesa Burger is definitely worth checking out.
