Really cute pizza place. Friendly staff and fun vibe. The locals in Custer told us it was the best pizza in town and it lived up to that. The Ruben flatbread was amazing, great flavors and decently large. If you like a thin crust, it is perfect. We also got a Reuben sandwich which was delicious and came with a side salad (or fries). Around $15 each after tax.

The French fries were fantastic—fresh and crispy. The cheesy bread was okay. We ordered the Healthy Logger with all veggies, and it was fresh and tasty. Our only complaint was that the pizza was slightly soggy. Overall, it’s a nice spot to eat and conveniently located about a 20-minute drive from Sylvan Lake. They also have patio seatings but we chose to sit inside since it was a bit windy.

It was such a joy to stumble on this place right next to our Tesla charger. Our expectations were low because it was a tiny building next to a gas station. After leaving the wife and I discussed if it was the best pizza we’ve ever had. If it wasn’t, the actual best pizza we’ve ever had is too far in the past to remember. Homemade dough, fresh ingredients, wood fired, stone oven. Fast and friendly service. Total surprise.

Excellent service and food was very good. We visited back in 2014 and knew when we were back in the area we had to stop again! So glad we did. I had the personal Towering timber, definitely recommend. I’m not much of a crust eater, but I cleaned my plate and left nothing behind. The honey on the crust is a great way to finish. My 8 year old son had the personal pepperoni and he finished also. My husband and daughter each got calzones with their favorite ingredients, and would also recommend. You could share as they are larger. Point is if you haven’t been to Pizza Mill you must stop!

We really enjoyed the onion rings! However, I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza we’ve had. It was actually very watery (our plate was very ‘soupy’) and the toppings were sliding off our slices.

VERY GOOD QUALITY PIZZA!!!
We ordered a 16” size supreme pizza. The girl that helped us was very nice. We ate inside, which the dining area was a little cold, but I would rather it be too cold than hot, so it didn’t bother us too much. There is also not a lot of space for dining in, so if you’re wanting to get pizza during a busy time, you might be better off ordering ahead.
The pizza came out and it looked delicious. Now this pizza was a fork kind of pizza. Lots of cheese and topping. But where most fork pizzas have floppy bottoms, this pizza had a great crisp to it. And it’s easy to pick up and eat after your about half way through a slice. The pizza and crust reminded me of my favorite pizza place (now closed) that I loved as a kid. We had a great experience, especially after being very disappointed in Buglin Bull experience the night before. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We will be back next time we’re are in the hills.

Oh my gosh, my wife took a shot on a pizza place which is not an often occurrence. It was an amazing decision. The spinach and artichoke pizza was the best I have ever had. 12 inches fills 2 people well. Garlic bread is thick and looks great. We didn’t get it so we are staring at our neighbors table…. I’m going back up to order some… The crust on the pizza is also delicious. Service and staff are also amazing.

I love pizza, and while the style at Pizza Mill wasn’t exactly my personal favorite, I still really enjoyed it – because let’s be honest, any pizza is good pizza, and in this area, pizza options are pretty limited!

What stood out was their great menu selection, with plenty of options and the ability to customize or make substitutions, which is always a plus. Even though the style wasn’t quite what I usually go for, you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients, and the flavor was definitely there – it was good pizza!

Also, the service was fast and super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Custer and craving pizza, Pizza Mill is absolutely worth the stop!
