Update. Order finally arrived sometime after 10pm 4 hours after ordering. Despite being told to ring the bell letting us know it was there they did not do that so it sat outside all night. If they charge my card I will call credit card company and have the transaction denied.
Anybody want frozen breadsticks
I called the store right away, and they told me they would help direct the delivery person. An hour went by with no update. I called again, no answer. I called twice more, still no answer.
I finally went to the store, and it was absolute chaos. The place was packed with customers who had the wrong orders or orders that were extremely delayed. There was only one person working the front, and he was completely overwhelmed and not actually fixing anything, just giving vague responses and putting bandaids on situations instead of resolving them.
When I finally explained my situation, I was told my food “wasn’t ready yet.” I waited another 10 minutes. Then another employee came to the counter, asked for my name and the last four digits of my phone number, and said my order was ready. I watched him go to the back, pull a delivery bag, and take my food out of it. The order showed as delivered over an hour and a half earlier.
I asked if the food was cold. He said I could check. Of course, it was cold. He then gave me three options: take the cold food, wait an additional 30 minutes for a remake (even though people had already been waiting forever), or get a refund. There was no apology, just “this is the situation.”
I chose a refund. I was handed a receipt showing that I paid, but when I asked for confirmation that the transaction was canceled, I was told they couldn’t provide one and that I would “have to wait and see” if my money gets refunded.
This was extremely frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Poor communication, poor customer service, and no accountability. I will not be ordering from this location again.
Today, I gambled: “Maybe I’ll get lucky, maybe the employees are competent now. ” Yes, I consider ordering from here a form of gambling. But I literally have not had one good order from this place. I have ordered here tens of times. I am a local. But is it really a gamble if I only get improperly prepared food every-single- time?
Moments ago I just got delivered a warped, curved, messy, undercooked pizza. Mind you, I haven’t had Dominos at all in a long time. I’m not unlucky tho, this place is just bad, always. I am quite serious when I say the only good thing I can say about this place is that I am physically delivered the pizza properly. All other metrics they fail. Yes, I have went there for pickup. Yes, the service isn’t good. But if they cannot simply cook what was ordered, there’s the line for me.
If anyone with corporate power is reading, you seriously need to make a serious change to this place or just shut it down. It borders on immoral having service this terrible with the leverage power of the Domino’s branding. I felt scammed every single time I ordered from here. I will not be scammed again.
