This is like a mall food court inside of a grocery store. Lots of restaurants selling Asian type cuisines. We chose this one because the line was long. The food wasn’t bad. It was a small portion size. They gave you a lot of rice but not a lot of meat or protein. You could go eat a buffet for the same price. It was OK. I just ate here because I was in the area. I would try one of the other restaurants around it next time.

Chef Han’s Black Bean and Seafood Noodle Soup combo is one of the best meal options at the H-Mart food court. With one order, you get to try two different dishes, and both of them were delicious. They have many other dishes on their menu, and we will try them again. The food court itself is lively, with many different restaurants and many other dishes. It’s always a foodie adventure visiting Katy Asian Town.

Sweet and sour pork was TRASH. Not sure if they make their own sauce but it really made the dish unappetizing. It tasted like a mixture of soy sauce and honey . We bought the small size for $13.99 and ate only a few bites. It does seem wasteful but either it was going in the trash here or at home.

Every time we come we ALWAYS get their fried rice and noodles. Today we tried a few more options and let me say ….YUMMMMMYYY!!! The beef/tofu with vegetables was spicy and perfect for a cooler evening. Really helped clear up the sinuses with the weather change but in a good way. The beef and broccoli was delicious, our 4 yr old really enjoyed it. Always a treat when we visit.

This place is the real deal. The portion sizes are perfect, so many food options that look/sound tasty, and friendly service. I got the Singapore Noodles while my husband got the General Tso chicken. Both were amazing and we finished every bite. Now there was a slight wait for the food but it was well worth the wait. Please give this place a try!!

I remember coming here a long time ago when it was the previous owners and ordered the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). They offered two different serving sizes (basically regular for 1 serving or large for 2-3 servings), and it came with a side of pickled radish so when I ordered from them recently, I was surprised to only see 1 standard size for $18.99. At first, I thought inflation was the reasoning for the price jump because if I remember correctly, it used to be $11-15 back then depending on what size you ordered. But when the host brought it out, I was impressed with how much they served! Their portion is wayyyyy more than I expected so now I see why it is $18.99! I should’ve taken the photo with my hand next to the plate to use as a comparison because it was a lot of food. The only downfall was that it’s advertised as spicy black bean noodles, but it was NOT spicy at all. They did have red spices/pepper flakes in a shaker at the counter so you’ll have to ask the host for it to use. They also do not give any pickled radish as banchan with the jjajangmyeon, but that’s fine. The abundance of seafood and veggies combined with the noodles were enough. So much food and so worth it. I was impressed and would get it again. The host was really nice too. He was helpful and very attentive!

This place is located in the Hmart food stall. I don’t know what the heck this is. Ordered Mongolian beef priced at $15 in Grubhub, received a half sized takeout box with 60% rice, 35% onions, and 3 small pieces of beef. First and last time ordering from here.

I ordered food here and was absolutely furious with the experience. It was a complete disaster from start to finish. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive — for Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong, which normally take 10 minutes max at any decent Korean-Chinese restaurant. The wait was ridiculous.
When the food finally arrived, it was disgusting. The pork in the Jajangmyeon was so tough it felt like it had been sitting in a freezer for years. The sauce was sickeningly sweet, and it wasn’t the natural sweetness from onions — it was clearly loaded with MSG. It tasted artificial and cheap.
The Jjamppong was just as bad. Again, overly sweet with that unmistakable chemical aftertaste of low-grade flavor enhancers. And to top it all off, the squid was spoiled — absolutely inedible and potentially dangerous to eat.
This was not just bad food — it was offensive. Serving something like this shows a total lack of care, skill, and respect for customers.
Do not waste your time or money here. Avoid this place at all costs.
