Located off PCH in CDM, Sunbliss can be found at the corner where Marigold Avenue intersects E. Coast Highway. There is street parking in front and along the side, and they also have a tiny lot out back that fits approximately 3-4 vehicles. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was a beautiful day to be by the beach and there was a constant flow of customers. Juan greeted us and took our order and their entire team was helpful and friendly.

The mochi donuts were mini and not entirely memorable, but it’s nice to have something to pair with your beverages. Juan informed me the Toffee Nut Latte was one of their most popular so of course I had to try it! Not only was it colorful, but it was flavorful and kept me caffeinated for most of the day. Fun Fact: the blue color is not blue spirulina but is in fact butterfly pea. My wife ordered the Dubai Chocolate Cold Brew and told me she enjoyed the chocolatey nutty flavor. Hope you enjoy getting caffeinated at Sunbliss as much as we did!

A few weeks ago, I came in with a girl friend and my baby and I was having a very chaotic morning. My friend accidentally made a mistake when she ordered my drink and the nice gentleman, Juan, gave us a new drink even though it was completely our fault.
THEN I was juggling my baby and I dropped my muffin on the floor and he gave me a new one. The girl behind the counter I believe also had something to do with that but I regrettably didn’t get her name! It was just so much repeated kindness that almost made me cry and I really needed that. So thank you, Sunbliss Cafe! You have the most wonderful staff. And the drink and muffin were delicious!!!

Sunbliss in Corona Del Mar is such a sweet little spot—my daughters love coming here for their smoothies and açai bowls (which are as vibrant and fresh as they look), and I recently tried the coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was—smooth, well-balanced, and definitely not your typical juice-bar brew.

Everything here is fresh and thoughtfully made. The breakfast menu is also worth a mention—tons of great options whether you’re in the mood for something light or a bit heartier. The vibe is warm and inviting with just enough seating to enjoy your bite without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of place that makes a simple stop feel like a little reset. Great service, sunny energy, and a perfect go-to for a quick, healthy start to the day.

This place makes the best açai bowls they are so authentic. I love that they’re true to the açai low and sugar. This smoothies are legit and the food is incredible. I love that they make all the sauces in House. I love the coffee. I love everything here It has never disappointed. I hope they open up soon.

Such a cute coffee shop! I was worried because the drinks were so pretty the coffee would be more artificial/chain like, but I was wrong.

We got the Spanish latte (pictured) and tres leches latte. Both very flavorful – both in terms of syrup and coffee beans.

We also got a specialty breakfast burrito. It looked and tasted like they use real ingredients (egg, cheese, potatoes). Burrito was smaller than we anticipated ( but not a huge deal was totally fine with two big coffees).

This cafe hit #23 on Yelp’s Top 100 in the Nation! I was in the area, and I had to stop by to try their coffee & açaí bowls.

Parking: Free 2 hour street parking. Finding a spot can be difficult since it’s very busy. We got lucky with neighborhood parking.

Ambiance/Environment: I love the brightness of this location. Very clean & modern inside. They have a small indoor space with a couple indoor seating and few outdoor seating.

Service: We didn’t catch everyone’s names, but all the team members were nice, quick, & efficient! Special shout out to Sarah who helped us with our options! Her hospitality is above & beyond exceptional.

Drinks & Açaí:

1) Dubai Chocolate Cold Brew – I’ve seen this everywhere on socials, so I had to give it a try. Wow .. this definitely lived up to the hype. I’m not a pistachio person, but this had the perfect amount that’s not too overwhelming. It balanced evenly with the chocolate.

2) Toffee Latte – I also saw this on socials. It looked aesthetically pleasing and tasted as amazing as it looks. This is perfect for those who love sweet lattes.

3) Caramel Matcha – We subbed with almond milk. The matcha wasn’t bitter and had a nice color. It was sweetened by the vanilla & caramel. Not overly sweet surprisingly.

4) Tres Leches Latte – This was one of their popular lattes. Now I know why! In the past, I’ve had tres leches lattes that were too heavy/overpowered with condensed milk. This was not heavy at all. The perfect sweet-not-too-sweet latte.

5) Strawberry Lemonade – Exactly what it sounds like. Strawberry and lemonade lol. Sooo refreshing!

6) Peanut Butter Bliss – I ordered this açaí bowl. Their açaí is organic topped with fresh fruits and granola. I absolutely enjoyed my bowl. The base was refreshing, and the peanut butter came through.

7) Chocolate Lava – My bf ordered this açaí bowl with chia pudding. Extra for add-ons. Same ingredients as the peanut butter bliss bowl but made with dark chocolate lava. The chocolate was very light.

Pricing: Average prices $$ for coffee and açaí bowls. Absolutely worth it! My bf and I enjoyed everything!

Hands down best coffee in CDM which is tough because there are quite a lot of coffee shops in the neighborhood now!! Sunbliss is consistent and quick, always friendly and innovating with new flavors! Also love the dog treat that they offer to furry friends as well. Their açaí is also great!! Have yet to try their smoothies but you MUST get their cloud (cold foam) on iced drinks because it is phenomenal!

We were excited to try Sunbliss Cafe, since they were named Yelp’s Top 100 places to visit and eat in the U.S. The cafe specializes in handcrafted drinks, organic smoothie bowls, and serve coffee made from a special Hawaiian blend. We tried the Maui Breeze smoothie, Mystic Matcha, Kepania Latte, Dragon Bowl, and Sunbliss Bowl. Everything was so fresh, so delicious, and made us feel good! Bonus points for the excellent service and immaculate beachside vibes! Make sure to stop by for some refreshing treats before heading to the beach!

My girlfriend got the strawberry matcha is a 4/10. It tastes chalky, grainy, and the strawberry taste like play-doh. Would definitely not recommend.

I got the vanilla latte which was just a bit bland. The drinks are colorful, but don’t taste good. I’d rate the vanilla latte 5/10.

I also tried the breakfast burrito, and was not a fan. I’d rate that a 5/10. It was too bland and mostly just taste like soggy eggs with some jalapeños or something that I didn’t like.

The employees were really friendly so I’ll give them that. Just didn’t like the coffee or food here. The store environment wasn’t too special either.

Love this damn place.

So cute. Bright. Clean. Met with smiling service.

I can’t help but be happy when I’m here. And when I need a yummy treat-yo-self, this pops to mind on top.

I tried the Dubai chocolate latte and it was so good. I think about it often.

Kudos for creating something so special and a net positive to everybody in the community and for foodies everywhere.
