Breakfast here is top notch. Don greeted us warmly all 3 days my husband and I went to breakfast. Rito was our waiter and he was so kind and prompt with service. The food was tasty and because I loved their mugs and wanted one for memorabilia, Ma’Nae helped my husband surprise me with a mug! This is a good place to stop and plan your day. It is so nice that this is on property. Many options and something for everyone. Wish I was still waking up to their breakfast!

I had a wonderful brunch experience at City Hall Bistro at The Adolphus in Dallas. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed — the marble tables and warm seating make it feel both upscale and comfortable.

My meal was fresh and beautifully presented: perfectly cooked eggs, creamy avocado, toasted bread, and a vibrant bowl of fruit that tasted incredibly fresh. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and balanced. The coffee was great, and the overall service was attentive without being intrusive.

A special thank you to Ma’Nae for the warm hospitality — service truly elevates an experience, and she made it memorable.

If you’re looking for a refined yet welcoming spot for brunch in downtown Dallas, this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

Our breakfast was marvelous at City Hall Bistro! We have had nothing but incredible service at the Adolphus from start to finish. Rito was our server for breakfast and very attentive and kind—special shoutout to him! We are so happy to have chosen this hotel for our stay and can’t wait to come back for a delicious breakfast tomorrow.

Fantastic brunch with our server Rito this morning. Service at City Hall Bistro is exceptional as is all of the Adolphus. All the staff is attentive and the food is excellent. When staying at the hotel, do not miss brunch here. Had the Texas Brioche french toast and pancakes. The breakfast potatoes are better than Cafe Brazil’s (if you’re from Dallas you know what I mean)!

The Texas Benedict was surprisingly light. Eggs were perfectly soft while whites were fully well done. Smart using a fried green tomato as the base to keep it light, crispy, crunch and not greasy. The burnt ends were delicious, I do wish it was a slab of brisket instead. The gravy was also a surprising light substitute for traditional hollandaise.

Rito provided amazing attentive service this morning.

The one star is only for the servers — they were genuinely kind and attentive.
Everything else was extremely disappointing.

When we arrived for breakfast, the host told us to wait 30 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour, only to notice that white guests who arrived after us were seated first. When we asked about our table, the host suddenly said it was “just ready,” which felt intentional and discriminatory.

What made it even more absurd was that when we finally walked in, there were plenty of empty tables. There was absolutely no reason for us to be left waiting that long.

On top of that, their Google and website dinner hours are completely wrong. It listed the restaurant as open, but when we showed up, it was fully closed. No notice, no update — just wasted time.

Overall, a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I would absolutely not recommend this place unless they fix their management and address the obvious issues at the front desk.

Our server Rito was terrific. Courteous, attentive, professional. The food was good, but kitchen didn’t get things quite right, seemed to be phoning it in instead of paying attention. A nice atmosphere, overall a good breakfast experience!

Jazzmine was absolutely wonderful!
She made my whole experience special from the moment I sat down. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can tell she loves what she does because she brings such a positive energy to the table. Every detail was perfect because of her.
Thank you, Jazzmine — you truly made my night. I’ll definitely come back because of you!

Great food and servers, but ruined by a cold welcome. Despite plenty of open tables, the receptionist was unnecessarily rude and acted like he was “guarding” the entrance. First impressions matter, and this one was terrible.
