This place is consistently very good. We tried the shrimp scampi last night. It was nice and garlicky, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Then we had a large Meat Amore pizza. The crust was crispy, it had just the right amount of sauce, and loads of meat. Along with a bottle of Merlot and great service from Martha.

This little unassuming Cafe is genuinely 5 stars. I hesitate to review it lest I help in some small way to make it more popular, but i just can’t help myself. I have experience in a triple A, Michelin rated banquet facility and restaurant. The polished glasses, diner wear, clean tables with ambient lighting all remind me of those days, but it elegantly mingles family and intimate spaces. So whether your wearing a suit or just stopping in on your way to somewhere else, you will feel at ease. The food is flawless. Every time I’ve been here, it delights. The flavors are Italian but, unapologetically so and nothing is what you expect it to be in the best way possible. The owners clearly love what they are doing and it absolutely shows. Thank you to you and your staff!

First visit here to give it a try. Salads were good and fresh. Husband had chicken Parmesan with fettuccine noodles with marinara sauce. He gave it a B- grade. Stated needed a bit of seasoning. I had the stuffed shells with spinach. It was ok but could have used more seasoning within the spinach itself and the sauce. Perhaps prepare it with fresh basil and a touch of pepper is suggested. Service was good. Will come back to try some other dishes.

The supreme pizza and tomato soup was delicious. The cesear Salad and vodka rigatoni was delicious. The atmosphere was family friendly. The waitress was attentive and great at her job. I would definitely go here again.

The chicken picatta was so lemon-y! Some other places it’s been very bland but it was stellar here. My husband also got some stuffed shells that were amazing. We have been 2 times and will return!

The moment we walked in we were greeted with the scent of good food along with the energy of a Saturday night! We started with a Caesar salad that had great flavor. For dinner, we had gluten-free cheese ravioli which was just like regular and chicken marsala with the perfect sweet marsala taste along with a perfectly seasoned chicken breast. Can’t wait to try their pizza. The owner Leo was kind enough to take a moment to chat with us. Very reasonable prices to boot! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Ordered food for take out on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised and fulfilled. I had chicken alfredo, chicken parm, and a small veggie pizza and man was that pizza a decent small, it was more of a medium it seemed. Overall, the food had very nice portions especially for the chicken parm; I liked how there was more chicken than pasta, to me that’s the way to have it. I would definitely recommend having the food from here and will for sure be ordering more food in the future.

Great atmosphere for a dinner, fresh food, attentive staff, the food just lacked a little flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente and tasted really good. I ordered the rigatoni vodka sauce ($14) and added a breaded chicken breast ($5). I had to add some salt and pepper for taste but the food was fresh and well prepared. Someone else ordered the fettucini alfredo ($10) and added shrimp ($6). Another person ordered the Parmigiana with chicken ($16.50). Overall, the food was well prepared but needed a little more seasoning. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

As a St. Louis guy, I have high standards for Italian food and Houston rarely meets the challenge (I call many of the places “trailer park Italian”). Italian Cafe was like being back home. The food was tremendous. We shared the bruschetta appetizer and the pear and arrugala salad and then wife had the Capellini San Marco which she loved and I had the Tortellini Poblano (interesting twist) with Italian sausage added. It was tremendous. Large portions and took home lunch for tomorrow along with a Chocolate Mousse Cake dessert for later tonight. Fantastic food, large portions and good prices. I’ll be back soon.
