That was Fernando’s attitude towards me tonight. he said you ordered it, i cant do anything more for you. My jaw dropped and I was shocked at the lack of customer service. then the frustration set in.
Really, you aren’t going to try and satisfy your customer, instead you say no. talk to online. so here i am talking to online.
Note, when you order something called a “Family” Meal you get to serve your family one breast and 8 wings. Really??? That was what I wanted resolved. He said I ordered it that way online. Excuse me Fernando, the online system doesn’t have the option for me to pick pieces.
4 breasts and 5 wings for a nine piece white is fair. I asked for 3 breasts or a refund. Nada. And he yelled at me. I yelled at him, sure because he left me no other option.
Then he proceeded to F Bomb me and put his finger down on the box of chicken that I paid for and still not refund me. So. I paid for nada cause that food is now in the garbage.
Popeyes, please donate my $20 that I paid for a tainted meal to st Jude’s or Shriners. At least then I feel like it was worth it.
Oh and he accused me of being racists which is a HUGE LIE. Yeah. Thanks for that one Fernando. I’m so EXTREMELY OFFENDED by that statement.

Note, 2 people on a dinner shift also does not cut it. It looked dirty in there and they could not keep up. Fernando was working the drive through and tending to the food. NO DEDICATED COOK!!! I watched him grab chicken from the fryers and go to the window and take orders. I watched him grab a boneless breast with his hands and put it on a bun. Where is the dedicated food person at a restaurant? So there is that as well.
They are trying to work through w not enough workers, but as proven it leads to bad customer service. Terrible service. Probably the same w the food. So Fernando probably did me a favor pushing his finger down on my box of chicken.
Looking through other reviews I noticed a lot of complaints on this one manager, Fernando… Why does Popeys continue to let him do this to customers. Look at the posted pictures. I have video as well. But again, watch the store video, please.
Worst experience ever. Bye Popeyes. What will corporate do, I guess nothing. I already put in a complaint through chat. Tomorrow I will be calling them. But all of the responses on these reviews are canned, probably done by a bot. No resolution offered, just we’ll use the feedback as an example to get better. Ok, whatever.
Yup, mr. owner replies, but how about, “We will refund you for your bad experience” ? Great, say that you will address the situation, but what about my wasted $$$ and the experience you gave me? NO. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Mr. Owner, your reply is just as bad because you do not address the CUSTOMER!!!. If this is the corporate approach for Franchise owners and part of Popeyes training, I’m really shocked.
Remember how I said this was a hit or miss? Don’t bother getting the chicken wings here. They just reuse the chicken that has been sitting there and put sauce on them. Didn’t have a lot of meat on them. Mac and cheese didn’t look or tasted like the mac and cheese from last time. The only things this location is truly good at are the chicken sandwiches, drumsticks, breasts, and Cajun fried. It’s too much of a gamble to get the wings, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, etc.
11/10/23 update: we did a pickup at night. If you get any sandwich combo (chicken or fish) on the app, you get a free sandwich. I got the bacon and cheese spicy chicken combo with Cajun fries and a mango lemonade. Everything was on point. Chicken sandwich was hot, moist, and fresh. Fries were nice and crunchy. Second sandwich was the truffle chicken sandwich. You can smell the truff spicy mayo aroma when you open the bag which is a good sign that you got the right product.
This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes, the food is pretty decent and other times it’s like meh. Service is always consistent every time I come, employees are usually nice. Last time I came during lunch, it seemed like the chicken sandwich came out way too fast. It was cooked all the way but just lacked flavor/freshness. The other times I came at night, the food is usually on point.
When I relayed my order, they said it had already been picked up. Clearly it had not, as it still had not been confirmed “picked up” through app. Employees then argued how they were not at fault for giving away the wrong order, and that was their resolution. When the lead came by and said in Spanish, “Its ok you gave it away, just remake it.” he remade the wrong order, and then claimed they did not have cajun fries as ordered. When asked why this was not reported through the app, employees claimed it was because they do not have the “kiosk”. Employees then refused to make any order at all, leaving multiple customers empty handed and wasted money. Completely acting in an unprofessional manner, deflecting store accountability and exhibiting zero responsibility for mistakes and egregiously unacceptable behavior.
its clear from the countless aligned feedback throughout the reviews, that this is a systemic issue, failed to be addressed by leadership. A direct reflection to your ability to own and manage a franchise. The utter and complete lack of follow- through is brand damaging. I will be taking this to media.

In reply: it was at 8:30pm on Monday October 6th and I ordered inside. Each piece of chicken was hollow between the breading and the meat.
No one was answering the mic, and the lights closed on me. Asked one of the workers that happened to be outside cleaning and he said sorry we’re closed to which I told him about my order, to which he replied “don’t worry we’ll make it”.
I pull up to the window and another guy comes up to me and says “what’s going on we’re closed” and I explain the situation to him but he was dismissive and told me they never got a ticket for it, all the while showing on the app that the order was being prepared.
Don’t get me wrong food here is decent but the service is almost always atrocious. (Wasn’t the first bad interaction with the second guy)
