DeBarge’s fish and shrimp plate was great! The fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the shrimp were fresh and seasoned just right. Portions were generous and everything tasted hot and fresh. Definitely a plate I’d order again!

Sold me under cooked slimy shrimp. Threw my plate of food away. Employees are argumentative. Refuse to refund or gift card only option was more food which I didn’t trust after eating the two shrimp that were raw. Told me the manager or owner would call me no one called to rectify the incident. Been a week. I filed a complaint with BBB

Fish was delicious , The only thing I got confused about was when I asked was the fish was stripped or filet. She said filets and when I got my order they were stripped. I would have ordered differently. And I don’t like those fried peppers. Starter Sauce was excellent

The turkey neck and boiled shrimp was too salty. Red beans, rice land crawfish etouffee was mostly rice (I should have asked for little or no rice), the fried fish and shrimp was okay. Fried jalapeños were amazing.

Small shack with a drive through that gets a lot of traffic.
Cracklins: great texture. Just the right amount of crunch and chewy. 4.5 stars because uses more of a chili-limon Takis style seasoning instead of a more traditional Creole / Cajun style seasoning.
Boudain ball and Pepper jack boudain ball. 5 stars. No comments. Perfect.
Crawfish pie: 3 stars. Some off flavors. Some pasta inside. Odd. Not bad, just not getting again.

So my first time eating at this establishment. I ordered the $74 combo. The 4 lb. Crawfish, the 30 or so shrimp, four potatoes two corns and I also ordered three fried boudin links and 2x eggs. Total was 98. Something. Let’s begin so the eggs are overpriced. A dollar, a egg and some butter sauce. No lie. It was good. As far as the corn and potatoes… It was corn and potatoes. The shrimp was great. Nice taste not overcooked not undercooked and with that house sauce the house sauce is phenomenal. Kudos on that. It was good. Whatever I dipped it in the boudin, the crawfish, the shrimp, the freaking egg. The house sauce is great. Keep that! NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS!!! Not going to lie. I thought because of the up hype this place has been receiving that it was going to be like top notch better than the people down the street that I’m not going to mention but more than half of my crawfish was just overly cooked to mush. A lot of them didn’t even have tails before I even started eating it. Some of the tails were mushed at the bottom of the bag. So I feel like if you’re going to give somebody 4 lb of something you need to actually make sure that your crawfish actually have tails and people are actually getting with their paid for simple. Over all for the crawfish…keep working at it. Edit: also the boudin links that are fried keep doing that. That was awesome. Something new Something innovative really like that.

I ordered cracklin through DoorDash. It was overcooked and hard—like it has been for the past month. I am tired of paying for food that is only good some days, so I called the restaurant. I asked them if I could get it remade, and they said yes if I brought it back. They then gave me a different bag from the same very bad batch—exactly as dried out and overcooked as the first one. I was confused, because they had told me they would remake my order. When I told the worker at the window, they said to get refund from DoorDash. I told them I would just prefer my order like they agreed. The manager came and said her general manager Shona didn’t want them to. She said they already “threw away $40 of product” and that was “a lot of money”. They had only taken on bag from me, and I was the one wasting valuable time and gas returning bad food. I told her I only came back because they said they would remake it. The manager said, “That’s how he’s cooking them today.” I thanked her, and I gave her the bag of cracklin back without getting a refund.

If you have high blood pressure don’t get the crackling and they season them with crawfish seasoning

I have little frame of reference but I am going to go ahead and give this place a 5 regardless. I stepped off a plane from Chicago and went on a hunt for crawfish before I even went to my hotel. The first place I went to was sold out and closed for the day. Debarge’s was next. I got two pounds of boiled crawfish and three boudin balls for good measure. I drove until I found a quiet place to sit outside my car and sat down for a spiritual experience. After 5 or 10 crawfish, I figured out how to twist the tails off to get maximum meat and just started going at it like clockwork. The boil seasoning was awesome, quite spicy and very much to my liking. The handful of pickled jalepenos thrown into the mix was a nice touch and I ate each one as I found it. The boudin balls were not greasy and not dense at all, they were almost cake like inside, airy and wonderful. This was a wild meal and only cost about $15 which is a steal. I’d eat here once a week if I lived within 1000 miles.
