Fuego Mediterranean Grill

A new Greek style restaurant in Escondido where Soprano’s pizza used to be. Escondido is blessed to have good quality Greek food. We tried this place tonight and like most Greek restaurants where the atmosphere is basic, the flavors are really good. We ordered the beef kabob plate which I found the beef to have pleasant flavors and seasonings but also super tender. The dressing on the salad were delightful and everything seemed very fresh. We also got a Greek salad with gyro meat. The gyro meat was particularly nice with a thin crispy edge, and not greasy. Really liked it.

Theeeee best Greek restaurant in all of Escondido. All meat choices are tender, never dry and never greasy. Always flavorful and portions are large. This place gives generous amounts of proteins where other restaurants fluff orders with rice. We also enjoy their baba ghanoush with thin strips of eggplant vs just a puree. This place is a must try. You won’t regret it.

This place is so delicious I ordered the plate that comes with gyro, chicken and beef and it was so delicious! I also ordered the hummus and oh my. I’m so grateful for the excellent service as well. If you are looking for a Mediterranean food, this is the place to go! Theirs meats and so juicy and flavorful.

Fuego Mediterranean Grill is a great spot if you want fresh, flavorful food without overpaying. The portions are generous, the prices are very fair, and everything tastes fresh and well prepared. A wonderful new addition to the East side of Escondido. My mom had the gyro combination plate and she was delighted with the fresh ingredients and large portions. I ordered the gyro sandwich and was floored at the amount of gyro meat along with the fresh veggies and perfect pita bread. Definitely come here if you are in the mood for amazing Mediterranean food!
