During a recent business trip to the Rochester area, I was told by several coworkers that I couldn’t leave without trying a legendary “Garbage Plate.”
Following their recommendation, I headed to Fairport Hots, and it did not disappoint.
Deciding to go all out for my first experience, I ordered the Godfather Plate.
The gentleman at the counter was incredibly friendly; he took the time to walk me through the menu and ensured my first “plate” experience was a great one.
The food was outstanding—perfectly prepared and hitting all the right notes for a local classic. Beyond the food, the entire staff was welcoming and maintained a high level of service throughout my visit. The atmosphere was friendly, and the facility was well-kept.
If you’re looking for an authentic Rochester culinary experience with top-tier service, I highly recommend Fairport Hots.

Ordered 3 plates specifically with well done burgers and other items. Burgers were all raw, also multiple items missing from the order. When we called to complain we were met with an attitude from a very unpleasant young lady who said she couldn’t help me and said they were too busy. She told me to call back following day when manager was there. I called 2 times and was told I would receive a call back and never did. Then the employee stated she would just give me cash back if I came in the store. I was given a $20 refund on a $70 order and she said she would talk to manager. A few days later I received a $50 refund on my card only to have the refund rescinded and my card was charged without my authorization for $50. Long story short if you love raw meat attitudes and unauthorized charges this is the place for you. If not, I suggest you try one of the other many plates around town.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Fairport Hots. The biggest issue was the complete disregard for customers’ time. What should have been a quick stop turned into a long, frustrating wait with no sense of urgency from the staff. Orders piled up, the line barely moved, and there was little communication about delays.
It felt like time management simply wasn’t a priority. Instead of efficiently working through orders, the pace was sluggish and disorganized. Customers were left standing around wondering what was happening while employees appeared indifferent to the growing backlog.
When you go to a place like this, you expect fast, reliable service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. If you value your time, you may want to think twice before stopping in.

They have THE BEST MEAT HOT SAUCE I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE!! *WARNING* It IS ACTUALLY a REAL DEAL SPICY sauce!! Not a watery, greasy wanna-be!! They also make a GREAT Mac salad!! Not that slopping around in a tiny hint of mayo with possibly a water-logged soggy carrot shaving… no sir NOT Fairport Hots!! The Mac salad WITH hot meat sauce on top SMACK YA MOMMA GOOD!! The staff was SUPER NICE also!! Im the crazy lady who thought she had her bank card and didnt and was panicking digging for cash in my purse (that I found btw!). Keep up the GREAT WORK!!

Ordered online for pickup drive there picked up my garbage plate got home and half of it was missing. Called and the guy said he couldn’t do anything and that he would leave my name and number for the owner the next day. No call the next day, not surprising. I call and a nice girl answers and says the owner has left for the day and she’ll text them. They told me I can bring the garbage plate back to them (24 hours after I ordered and tossed the dry mess already) or get a 2$ refund. What a joke.

Make sure you go to fairport hots. The door is by the road. Not to be confused with a bar that shares a parking lot.
So fairport hots has tons of parking
The food was awesome. Garbage plates of all size with curly fries as an option.
The dude at the counter was super chill. Got to talking and said the owners are considering a food challenge.
The owner I think her name is Ashley was super nice.
I look forward to trying the Godfather plate and meeting her hubby.

My favorite hots place! They have their meat & bread delivered fresh everyday and they use zweigles hot dogs, I saw it when their food was getting delivered. One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been in.

Difficult to find parking. One person taking orders,answering phone orders packing orders and cashing out on a Friday. Multiple people standing around waiting. When my order finally came it was without any tartar sauce for the fish fry. Not going back

I think I found my new spot for garbage plate. I was introduced to you a week ago and I’m very impressed. It has heat in the hot sauce which I like. It was excellent. It’s now definitely a staple highly recommend
