I had a lovely lazy Sunday lunch here with my friend. We both chose to go for the set menu offering a 3 course meal for about £30. We both had squid to start with. It was really well cooked and the portion size was generous. I then had the prawns with spaghetti. Very tasty and a good portion. Again the prawns were well cooked and very tasty. My friend had the salmon which she said was very good as well. Service was excellent, very attentive and fast. There were crisp, white real fabric napkins on the table , which i think adds a nice touch of class. All in all i would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will most certainly be back. Great food, well cooked and for a great price 🙂

Went for a friend’s birthday on a Saturday afternoon, the staff were so welcoming and helpful, especially as we had our baby with us.
The express menu was great value with lots of fantastic, filling options. The savoury cheesecake made with goat’s milk was a highlight, such an interesting and delicious concept.
Keen to visit again sometime to try more of the menu!

Came here sunday 24/8/25 for my wife’s birthday. Food was of the highest order, every dish was perfect for the four of us. The service was top notch too. The server was fantastic, an asset to the restaurant!! I will definitely be returning to Joia and i honestly cant recommend this place enough. Proper high end italian cuisine with an excellent menu with some dishes most high street italian restaurants don’t offer. My wife loved the baccala main and the polenta starter, she doesn’t get the chance to have baccala very often (outside italy) and she loved it. We had the parpadelle pasta with 8 hour lamb ragu which was lovely and rich. The tagliere misto starter has to be seen, like an antipasta it came on a tower of 3 plates and had a great selection. I had a pizza nero for the first time and it was an excellent pizza. I could go on and on about the cubotta stuffed pastry with ‘nduja, italian sausage and marscapone (tasty/first time for us) or birra tiramisu (different/superb) or the mozzarella fritta, my daughter loved them. Cheese pull for her insta anyway if i could give an extra star i would. Just a great experience with top notch food and service. Well done

We love it here. Such a lovely place for a quiet date night. I had the filet and my husband had the pappardelle. Both were absolutely delicious. Im not quite sure how they make their veg a star, but they do. Such a lovely night out! x

So glad we discovered this beautiful place during our business trip! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fabulous. The service was outstanding—friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable throughout.
We can be tricky customers—one vegetarian, one pescatarian—so it’s not always easy to find a place that satisfies us both, but this one exceeded our expectations.

First visit to Joia’s and it won’t be my last. We were at an event at the SEC and decided to try somewhere local for a late lunch/early dinner. I had booked for 3:30pm but called ahead when we finished earlier, and they were more than happy to accommodate us.
Lovely restaurant, great service and outstanding food. Th e goat’s cheese cheesecake and the lasagne were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been coming here since 2022 and the food and service is always amazing. Can’t fault whatsoever. The staff are always so attentive, friendly and welcoming, and are always happy to make amendments to dishes to cater to our dietary requirements. Thank you Joia! We look forward to our next visit. X

I honestly have nothing bad to say about Joia. From the food, service & atmosphere, it was top notch. Despite the interior, it is actually kid friendly too. The staff were very sweet to our toddler.
