Sunday morning brunch time, we have visited this establishment on numerous occasions, but this marks our initial experience with an early brunch/lunch.
Our server, Maria was extremely professional and she provided great service.
My wife picked the avocado toast and I chose the big biscuit and gravy skillet
Both of meals were plentiful and delicious .
We departed feeling completely satisfied.
I give today’s visit 5 out of 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #Visit #Stars

We have been coming to this Skillets since it opened. This last visit, we immediately noticed some differences. Husband ordered a breakfast, which should have included a fruit cup, which was missing. I ordered a soup & sandwich combo. I also requested mustard & mayo on the side, which did not come. First, husband’s pancake and egg were barely warm and he said his bacon didn’t taste freshly fried . My soup cup was a laugh…literally had about a half inch of soup with a big handful of tortilla strips on top (it was chicken tortilla). FYI, it was not busy at all in there. Had to flag down another server (Manny) to help us bc we could not find our server. Hubby didn’t want to send his plate back, so I simply asked if I could get a little more soup in my mostly empty soup cup, and also asked for the mayo & mustard I had originally requested. Manny was very nice and kindly brought back another soup cup and the mayo/mustard packets. After he left, I sampled my soup and it literally was room temperature — not even lukewarm. So, once again, bc we couldn’t find our server, I flagged Manny down and asked if he could microwave the cold soup. He apologized for the soup and hustled to the kitchen.
So then I proceeded to put mayo on my bread, then reached for the mustard. The “yellow” mustard looked dark brown. Yuck! Looked sooo old. (See pic) Didn’t even open the packets. Got suspicious, so then tasted the mayo on my bread. Yuck! It tasted old! Gross! So, I took all the bread off my sandwich and ate the insides with a knife and fork. When we checked out, we asked if there is new ownership. Was told there’s a new CEO, who is “making changes.” We said, well not for the better! Too many other really good places with similar or better prices, like House of Omelettes (Ft. Myers & Naples), Bonita Brunch, Motor City Diner, etc. We won’t be back. The 4 starts for svc is bc Manny, even though he wasn’t our server, was great!

I had an incredible experience at Skillets! Our server, Fatima, was absolutely excellent from start to finish. She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and got our food out right on time. Her positive attitude and polite service really made the whole meal even better.
The food itself was great fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The atmosphere was top tier as well clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing breakfast.
Overall, everything from the service to the food to the vibe was outstanding. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, I highly recommend Skillets and definitely ask for Fatima!

I come to Skillets usually a couple of times a week, typically the Gulf Coast location. The food & the quality are always great. We try the get Stephanie to take care of us if she’s working. She always takes care of us very well and is always so sweet and is on her game, no matter how busy she is! The new manager gal has also been a great & welcome addition. Everyone is efficient and friendly here!

This is my absolute favorite breakfast/brunch place ever! I cannot have gluten free due to my health/GI issues and Skillets has THE BEST gluten free pancakes and biscuit!! I wish I could add a picture, but there’s nothing ever left because it’s way too yummy and I forget to take a picture prior . Also, Skillets is very clean, food always comes out fresh, and service is outstanding every single time. I highly recommend this place — especially if you’re GF due to health issues and want to enjoy a yummy pancake and biscuit without having to worry!

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning. The food and service was excellent. I especially loved the scrumptious warm scone, the fruit and the omelette plus appreciated the coffee pot at our table to have an additional cup of coffee. Thank you to Estefany for your pleasant and efficient service.

Great atmosphere FGCU parents weekend, Sunday breakfast. Wait was 45 minutes and was well worth it. Our server Maria was well experienced and did a great job ensuring our order was correct. The food did not disappoint. This will be a good morning stop when we visit our daughters.

This was my first time at Skillets and they did not disappoint. Kahla was absolutely amazing and provided top-tier service!! I ordered the cilantro and chive eggs Benedict with the sun dried tomato hollandaise… decadent, sumptuous, and not too filling or heavy. This kitchen KNOWS what they’re doing (look at that glorious HALF of an avocado in the pictures below) Their scones and biscuits are TO DIE FOR!!! Their hostess, Janeth, was also sweet and got us to a table FAST. Please give this location a try and ask for Kahla!!

We love Skillets! We go at least twice a week. The service and food are both high quality. Everyone treats us like family. Some of the servers, like Fatima and Stephanie as two examples, know our favorite foods and how we like them prepared.
Definitely will keep going back for the tasty yet healthy food and wonderful, friendly and attentive servers and staff. A 5 star, top quality restaurant for sure!
