we are a family owned Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Latham New York. We are open seven days a week 10 AM to 10 PM offering Dan takeout and delivery. We do not use frozen meatballs or frozen chicken cutlets or frozen. Anything we cut your calamari fresh and bread it to ORDER we pound out your chicken we pound out your veal we make fresh meatballs we make our own sauce. It doesn’t come in bags. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the difference. Follow us on Facebook to watch us make stuff live. We take pride in our food and offering you the freshest highest quality meals to fuel you in your family we also have an extensive gluten-free menu as well as vegan options. Everything on our menu is available in catering sizes as well.

Stopped in Taste of Italy after a visit to
Bob’s Furniture. After being seated we were greeted by our server, Tammy. She was pleasant and attentive. The menu was endless, and with several pictures/stories of gangsters, fresh flowers on the table made for a very nice atmosphere. Seltzers served in a stemless wine glass was also a nice touch. We had a Caesar salad w/chicken and the Italian Mix chopped sub. Both were awesome. We’ll be back!

We were on our way home from Albany and remembered we wanted to check out Taste of Italy. I ordered take out on my phone ,which was very easy .Hubby loves Chicken Parm which his his favorite. He ordered the Wednesday specials chicken Parm for $15.. It included 2 pieces of Italian bread . He ordered a side salad to go with it.I ordered a 6 cut pizza with sausage & mushrooms. The pizza was delicious. The crust was the best I’ve had & great cheese .I feel it could of had more toppings being a little stingy with the mushrooms & sausage. I give it a 9 .
Hubby loved the chicken stating it was really tender and the large portion was very good. The sauce was a little spicy & a little too much basil to both our liking. He gave it a 9 otherwise. The service is was friendly & prompt. We live in lake Luzerne and will definitely stop again on our way through.
We also seen Frankie fresh with his left arm wrapped …we would of said hello but he was on his cell phone .
Hubby also noticed the cleanness of the restaurant .

Tammy was our server, she was behind the counter as we walked in. Greeted with a smile snd pleasant to speak with. Kids were indecisive and she was patient and friendly. Pizza was on display for quick slices, heated per order and was served to us at the table. Everything came out hot like it was first cooked! All 3 slices were enjoyable. The chicken parm was great, thick and the proper balance of sauce/cheese and chicken. Pepperoni was FRESH with just enough crisp for a really good textured slice, which was crispy crust and no flop in the center. I asked for blue cheese to dip and its gotta be one of the top choices of blue cheese in the area( latham, cohoes,troy)
Will repeat to try other actual dinner menu items and leave another review!

Had an amazing dining experience. I always order take out. We absolutely love y’all food. Tonight we decide to dine in . We were instantly greeted by our server Tammy. She was very attentive , kind and extremely funny. She really made our dine in experience fun. She checked in on us regularly. Making sure we were fully satisfied with our food and that our drinks were full. The food was delicious as always. Definitely a great overall dining experience. We will definitely be back that’s a given with y’all food. But we will definitely come back to dine in especially if Tammy is there . Definitely a 10/10. Keep up all the great work!!!

We stopped in on our way through town and weren’t disappointed. There wasn’t long of a wait. The room was cold but it was an open warehouse type room and the kitchen was open so I imagine they had to keep it a little cool to combat the kitchen heat. We did end up changing booths but the waitress rolled with it. The food was delicious! Large portions! Very authentic Italian! Loved the meatballs and garlic knots! (I made tiny meatball sandwiches with my knots, mmmm mmmm). Would definitely return

It has been a long time since my boyfriend and I have enjoyed an entire meal somewhere. Not only was every single thing we had amazing, but it was all fresh and came out steaming hot. The meatballs are incredible. My boyfriend doesn’t even like meatballs, and could not stop eating these! The Alfredo is by far the best I have had anywhere. The portions for everything are huge, and the prices in my opinion are below what they should be for the quality of the food. Our server was Tammy, and she was great. Took our jokes well, was on top of everything, super friendly! Frank took the time to talk to us for a while. Was an extremely funny and likable guy. Alyssa has been nothing but sweet every interaction we have had with her, and was making sure the restaurant was clean the entire time we were there. My boyfriend loved it so much, we took his parents a few days later. I can’t say enough good things about our experience there, and the food speaks for itself! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Definitely our new fav spot!

We had just got done with work and wanted to try Taste of Italy – Latham, NY Pizza. We ordered Spinach Ricotta, Chicken Parmigiana, Pepperoni and Basic cheese slices. The Spinach Ricotta pizza was on point it’s a perfect flavor combo.
You can’t go wrong with chicken parmigiana pizza, taste just like chicken parm but on a pizza.
My preferred pizza is thin and crispy with enough sauce and a good amount of toppings and it was just how I like it.
The place was super clean with beautiful flowers on each table. The employee was super nice. 4.7/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

This is the best Italian place around in my opinion I’ve been to a lot of the well know places in 518. Come try anything from pizza and wings to elegant Italian dishes all home made. Well known for the meatballs, lasagna, baked bread and the marinara sauce. I had a great experience with Tammy she is such a hard worker and sweet.
