Ordered my food waited over an hour then I ring spice trail to ask where my food is…. at first they couldn’t find my order and then told me its on the way. I then get a phonecall 10 minutes later saying the driver has come back I apparently didn’t answer the door or my phone, even though nobody knocked the door I was sitting right by the door so the driver obviously went to the wrong door or couldn’t find my house where I had a missed call but they left no message then had the cheek to say they can deliver the food for an extra £5. Awful service!

Have become disappointed by our previous favourite, Spice Trail definitely takes 1st place for best curry in Monmouth. Love the regional difference on how the dishes are made. Vegetarian options we ordered were really generous portions and fantastic selection of vegetables, beyond what you’d usually expect. Team were very warm and friendly, extra discount for takeaway.

Really good food here. I usually get the saag aloo which is very nice, and a great vegetarian dish. The vegetarian curries are also very good, with a huge variety of veg in them, sometimes including everything from sprouts to sweetcorn. The food usually takes about 25 minutes which is quick, and you get a discount when you pay in cash which is always nice. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good Indian.

Yet again another amazing curry!! I rang as I wanted a naga which wasn’t on the menu, the guy I spoke to said they could do it and wow…. Wasn’t disappointed!! One of the best if not the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten curries all around the UK for 20 plus years regularly! I won’t be going anywhere else, plus they deliver when other takeaways in area dont… 5 stars

What a wonderful dinner that was! We ordered takeaway at the Spice Trail and were mighty impressed. The food was amazing and the portions generous. Especially the chutney tray stood out as fantastically flavourful. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Super friendly bunch at the shop as well. We will most certainly order here again.
