The food is really good. I came with 1 other person and I got a Pina Colada which was really good. My guest got Nunu’s Punch which just tasted like beer with more alcohol added (we didn’t really like it much) we got Calamari as a starter and when it was time to order main dishes we got one of the Pad Thai with chicken and a Pineapple fried rice with chicken. They give you a decent amount of food so we both just shared all the dishes. The pad Thai was absolutely phenomenal with the chicken. I also really enjoyed the Pineapple fried rice, it’s not like some other pineapple fried rice’s I’ve had where the entire dish tastes like pineapple. It’s basically just fried rice with pineapple, I actually liked how I could just eat some normal fried rice if I wanted or have it with a piece of pineapple. Some other places put pineapple juice in the actual rice which I don’t really like because then every bite ends up tasting like pineapple but the pineapple fried rice at Nunu’s had a really good balance of normal fried rice flavor and pineapple. I will definitely be coming back.

I visited for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was solid, and I appreciated the display of traditional Thai artifacts along with the impressive central bar. The Hoi Jor was delicious, and the Pad Thai lived up to expectations.
I look forward to returning to explore more of the enticing Thai dishes on the menu.

They can’t fulfill orders because they don’t have enough staff. I waited 55 minutes for one order. They always say they’re doing a good job, but they never do. Never order from here. Because 100% of the time your orders will arrive very late. They use the excuse that they are busy. They should have more staff during busy times, but they don’t. That’s why they prepare orders late. The orders are waiting like in the picture I shared. They never admit their mistakes. It’s a terrible place.

Incredible dining experience!! Nunu is The Ultimate host! One visit you’ll understand why it’s crowded, with manageable wait times. The food is light out, fantastic, lit or however superlative you could add. Just in drop in on Nunu, tell him you read our review!! Family run, #simplythebest

I had been here months ago, how could I have forgotten to leave a review? The restaurant was packed at lunch time. We were seated right away, quite a cozy place bigger than what it seemed from the outside. Food was good, not too spicy (catering more to the general palates, I could have asked for amped up spice level). I ordered curry. Service was good, I don’t recall to have to wait long nor having to complain about needing the glass of water refilled. Peaked my interest, will definitely go back to try other menu selections.

I had a lovely birthday dinner at Nunu’s. All the food was excellent and the portions were very generous. The mango sticky rice is far better than most other Thai restaurants. The crispy chicken was outstanding. Our only complaint was that the crab fried rice didn’t have much crab in it. Otherwise, it was an excellent meal with friendly service.

I have multiple Thai restaurants within a few minutes from me and still go further out of my way to get food from Nunu’s because the service and quality are unmatched! The owner and servers truly go above and beyond to provide a lovely experience. They also have great happy hour deals. Cannot recommend them enough!

Very impressed with the curry – very well done with the right amount of coconut milk (and thus creaminess) and spices.
We also had the whole fish fry, which was awesome! The family finished the fish swiftly. Would definitely go back again.

Waited a long time for our pick up order. Pick up at 6:30. Still sitting here at 7:15. Owner making excuses. Must be too busy. No freebies to help make up for it.
Wishing we hadn’t ordered from here.
I hope the food is good
Good luck to anyone who orders here
If coming here…. Plan for an experience that is not pleasing

One of the best Thai restaurants in the DMV. Their duck noodle soup is like the home country. Their krapow and larb gai is always on point. Service is fantastic and it can get loud in there because it’s a tight space but the food is amazing.
