Had a mixed experience with this place, especially considering it’s high rating from folks. I ordered a sampler plate to try out all the meats offered by the establishment but was somewhat underwhelmed when I opened my box. Though not meager, the portion sized are nowhere near as large as other reviews laud the restaurant for, especially considering a plate with only meat and no sides set me back $20.
Now for the meats:
– The chicken, though moist, had no flavor whatsoever. I’ve had rotisserie chickens that taste better than what I paid for.
– The pulled pork was a little bit better, though it still didn’t have the flavor it should.
– I will commend them on the brisket, as it was cooked very nicely and had a decent amount of smokiness to it.
– Ribs were on par with the brisket, cook to where they’re moist yet falling off the bone with a nice amount of smoke.
While I didn’t have a terrible experience, you can definitely do better with $20 than what I got. Still, not a horrible option if you’re in the mood for barbeque and don’t have access to alternatives.

1. Food is scrumptious. BBQ out of this world. Ribs fall off bone. All hot food. Green beans, baked potatoes, baked beans etc are also all smoked for hours!
2. Portions leave you satisfied when you leave
3. Prices OMG. I’ve enclosed a menu from 5/11/25 . Where can you get 2 rib dinners 2 sides with each dinner. All for $22.95. Come on fast food costs more than that.
4. Last but not least. DONT go if you don’t want to become addicted. Because. YOU WILL BE BACK. I quarantee it
Look at the size of those loaded nachos. Almost as big as the tray Think they were $7.95. Look at those rib bones they pulled right out of the meat. And that 1 lb smoked bake potato. The two of us couldn’t eat it all

My wife and I had the Brisket dinner, it includes 2 sides and a side salad (Thursday only). The brisket was fall apart tender with just enough smoke flavor for those who like a light smoke, included is au-jus that adds a bolder smoky flavor. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend you give it a try.

Let me just start with saying, these are amazing portions for the cost and the cost is NOT expensive. I got a full order of pulled pork nachos and it was $13 and my mom got a loaded baked potato with pulled pork for like $10. It was delicious!
They are just opening so they don’t have a lot of staff and have a note up, but even with that we were seen very quickly and our waitress was super attentive and nice. Definitely recommend giving it a whirl

How there isn’t a line from Breese to Texas for this grub is CRAZY. The smoked potato MELITS in your mouth. The sauce is tangy and sweet all at the same time. Baked beans are the ones you dad thought he made, and you wished he did. The pulled pork has that incredible smoke flavor without the overpower flavor of just smoke. When you can make pork that is smoked and juicy, you have a license to print money. I met the owner tableside, and he wasn’t wearing a wizard cape, but you could tell he had just taken it off.

I ordered three loaded baked potatoes with everything, asked for BBQ sauce cause it had pulled pork on it and I was told it’s some in the bag and I get home, no sour cream, no bbq sauce, one had peppers on it and one didn’t, one tomatoes on it and one didnt and I paid $30 for this bullshit and this is not the first time so I’ll never be back I promise you, bad service!!

I’ve been to their original location, so I had to try their second one. The food was good but didn’t get a lot of meat or toppings on the nachos. The pulled chicken had a very small amount compared to the size of everything at their other location. I’m a little sad about the whole thing. Hoping next time I go it will be better.

We had the special: 2 pulled pork plates with two original sides for $19.95. Pulled pork is delicious. Comes on big bun with no sauce so you can enjoy it plain or add sauce. The bottle of sauce at the table was very good, I’m assuming it’s their recipe. My two sides were the green beans and smoked seasoned potatoes. Which were both good. My husband’s sides were potato salad (made with smoked potatoes) and baked beans. He said it all was very good. One in our party had the smoked chicken, which was also good. The sweet tea was delicious as well. All in all, we had a great meal for a great price. Our server was very nice and friendly. Upon entering, there is a sign on the door that they are understaffed. Please be patient. Service was still great, no complaints. We would definitely go back, and it’s a drive for us, but it’s worth it.
