54 Restaurant in Washington, D.C. is a wonderful place for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The food was well-prepared and flavorful, with a menu that offers a nice variety of options. Everything we ordered was fresh and nicely presented, and the portion sizes were just right.
What really stood out was the friendly and attentive service. The staff were professional, helpful, and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal.
Overall, 54 Restaurant offers a great combination of good food, pleasant ambiance, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to eat in D.C., and I’d be happy to visit again!

Came in a rush, and got my food super quickly!
Even though they were full, I was able to get my takeout order not even five minutes after I ordered. The banh mi tofu sandwich was pretty good, although the tofu was quite dry and flavorless. The rest of the pickled vegetables and the sauce kept the sandwich delicious.
The smell of pho was insane, I will definitely be back to try it!

The food was good, seems like they keep the meat ready and the sandwiches and dishes get assembled quickly. I’d go back for the vermicelli bowl. The portions are good for the price.

My favorite pho places in downtown! The pho dac viet and tofu red curry are my favorite. The staff are super fast and efficient at serving. Lunch time could be pretty busy so be ready Their milk tea smoothie is pretty good too

Amazing pho! Have been here many times. It’s a great casual spot where you grab a table and order at the counter. You get a number and the food is brought out to you. The prices are extremely reasonable. The pho broth is so rich and aromatic. All the tables have sriracha, hoisin sauce, and chili oil. They also bring out a plate of the bean sprouts, jalepenos, Thai basil and limes as well. The service is good and the food is amazing

I don’t usually post bad reviews of a place but the food here is quite horrendous. The bread used for the banh mi was stale. The meats arent actually grilled. They’re just pan fried, and it’s pretty tough to swallow, literally. It’s good enough if you just need a quick fix on the way to work, but honestly, it’s quite bad.

The pho was rich, aromatic, and full of deep, comforting flavors — the broth tasted like it had been simmering for hours, and the fresh herbs brought everything to life. The vermicelli chicken was just as impressive — perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor, with fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce that tied it all together.

The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy yet vibrant. You can tell they take pride in both their food and hospitality. This is easily one of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic, flavorful dishes

Decent food taste, tried combination pho, red curry was delicious but spicy, lemon grass beef vermicelli was decent but sauce was limited. Order and pay up front, partial service.

Great great bowl. Delicious tendon. No tripe though. Broth didn’t get too greasy as it cooled, but still rich with good beef flavor. Nice portion. Friendly staff. NSYNC, Miley, and Britney on the aux.

Note to self – don’t order a Bahn Mi sandwich from a restaurant named “Pho 54”… Its like ordering a hamburger from a salad shop.

I ordered the pork Bahn Mi and while the flavor profile was good the characteristics were all wrong. Baguette was completely soft instead of a crisp exterior. Pork was not sliced thin and felt heavy and chewy. And even though I asked to make sure the sandwich included jalapeños, the kitchen omitted them..!

Now the Pho looked amazing as I saw the chef removing massive dinosaur-like bones from the broth. I’ll try that next time..!
