Worth a visit…!

The lady and I came down to St. Thomas as part of a travel group, but we ventured out on our own for food. After a dissatisfactory and expensive experience at the Greenhouse Restaurant and Bar, we decided to head east and see if things got any better in that direction.

It absolutely did…!

The first time around the lady had a simple cheeseburger and fries, but I had opted for the conch with butter sauce, some kind of yellow rice and vegetables.

Both meals were tasty, although I could’ve gone for slightly larger portions and I have a sense that the conch would be both more tasty and more satisfying in the hands of a more capable chef-this is not to say it was bad at all.

The second time around we had some salmon (lox) omelets with some of their passion fruit juice to get the day started right.

I think you’d be quite happy with them versus some of the other nearby venues and since you’ll be sitting quite literally on the water you will also enjoy some rather splendid views of the water while a cool breeze keeps your sweat at bay.

We dined here for a late lunch and tried their Salad with Conch and the Honey Dipped Fried Chicken. The food was okay, but the view was nice. It was near the seaplane base and it was nice to watch it land and take off.

Food was good, and service was fair. Nice view of the harbor. Did not help that one of the ferrys chose to idle right next to the restaurant while we were eating, so the diesel fumes were at times overwhelming. But in fairness, they are located above the ferry terminal.

Petite Pump Room Bar was a nice place in regards to food, service and most of all the view. It is located right above the ferry terminal in Charlotte Amalie. The service is quick and friendly. The view is so beautiful. Now the food for what you are actually ordering is slightly overpriced ($16-17 for a omelet for example). However, they do give you large portions and the view makes up for it. So make this a place you stop at. They are considerate with your time as most people are passing through to travel, so I recommend for a quick bite.

I only went for breakfast. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. If you go on a Friday or Saturday try their local salt fish breakfast and bush tea!

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since I’ve moved here 3 months ago & it was an even better experience than expected. 1st off, I only support local & there aren’t many local places that serve breakfast in town, where I live. Not only do they serve breakfast, but it’s also very affordable, tasty, with amazing views of the boats passing & seaplanes taking off. Grab a bite while waiting on the St John ferry. My new spot.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I believe the servers here hate their life. From the moment my wife and I walked in we felt unwanted. I asked for a burger with an extra patty and they charged me for two separate entrees. My wife ordered a non alcoholic Shirley Temple and they charged her full price for a refill. We also ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and we never received them. Steer clear of this restaurant if you’re on the Caucasian side of the spectrum.

Awesome outdoor and indoor dining. Perfect food when you are waiting for the sea plane or your ferry! They say quick food and they mean it! But not only is it quick but it is good! I’ve already had a bacon cheeseburger and their fried chicken and both are excellent!

Great service great food! Extremely friendly staff!
We came here while waiting for the ferry and the staff is very mindful of your time and that you have a boat to catch!
I had the western omelet and my daughter had the bacon egg sandwich. Omelet was delicious full of the fixings and big! Drinks were awesome best Bloody Mary in town!
Patio was nice to watch the boats and sea plane arrive and depart!
Recommend trying it out

A delicious restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating with spectacular views over the Charlotte Amalie Bay and Water Island! If you’re lucky like I was you can watch the seaplanes take off! I had oxtail and it was so flavorful and tender!! Best bushwacker on the island and it was served in a good rimmed glass! Must visit! It’s in the top floor of the ferry station!

I think the Bar tender and Chef are secretly competing for best reviews… My mojito was flawless, stiff and great tasting and the food was amazing! I really enjoyed everything we ordered.
